Think the dates referred to in 9A and 19D are both 1 day out, i.e. should be 1st November and 30th April respectively.

Think the dates referred to in 9A and 19D are both 1 day out, i.e. should be 1st November and 30th April respectively.

The full day Gaelic festival of 9A starts at sunset on October 31st, so could be associated with Halloween.

I agree with 30th April rather than the following one as hinted in the clue. We always have a celebratory bonfire on that day!

I thought 13D was an inspired clue.
