Mostly a good one this week from Peter Chamberlain, but I have one left of which I can make no sense.

21A Give money to Pole appearing in burlesque (6) ?A?O?Y

I can only find a few words which fit this pattern and, assuming that "Pole" means either N or S, that list is even shorter:

BARONY
CANOPY
PAEONY
SAXONY

Unfortunately, to my mind, none of these fit the clue. Any ideas?

Thanks to all, so simple when you see it. My mind was set on N or S, rather than 25 links. Must chain myself to the desk next week until I finish it.
