11a 5 this is to 5 today? (4) ?T?S (thanks for the 5=miss)
9a Gave cash over (5) S?E?T
...and we've appreciated confirmation on our guesses but why is 4a TEMPTED?

4a I could only see Lucifer as tempt + (h) ed with h chief dropped

13a google miss otis

Lucifer he'd minus chief leaves you with lured which is tempted.

4A - Drop chief from "Lucifer he'd" and you're left with lured: hence 'tempted'.

9A - double definition: gave cash / over.
