Last one, 6d, E.g. sturgeon's pawn otherwise wasted time; I have ?AD?ETT and can find nothing in Chambers, I see that 'time' may be the final T, but any ideas?

It's in Chambers = wadset and wadsett mean (in Scotland) a mortgage, something pledged or pawned.
