Now got almost all of S corners and most but nor all of NW and NE (2 6 letter words missing here. I don't believe *CK*u*)

Have only 2 clues to solve in the cloverleaf, but they only add up to 15 letters and have 27 letter spaces. Something to do with the central traffic sign no doubt; but I have looked at pages of US traffic signs! Ah well, I expect light will dawn.

I don't see *CK*U* in the NW or NE. The warning around the central square is a very common one.

The odd letters are in my NE square. Trying again, more squared paper!

All done, at last. Thanks for your patience, aristo. I think we have different words on the road sign for that, but it's all part of the fun. Cheers!

Thanks yet again syzygy, loved this puzzle and the last instruction acting as a check is a very nice touch. I thought Cloverleaf (c), NE (c) , SW (d) & (g)* particularly well written.

I agree ginge, Cloverleaf c very good. I also liked NE a when I finally got it!
Good fun and I learned some new words.

I can imagine which words have the most synonyms/euphemisms, but "money" must run them close.
