I have a full grid, not sure of some of the missing letters...
I can see 2 creators in the grid with one work from each in the usual place for an EV. Do I need the author or the musician or both? ( for the 3 lines necessary)

How do I make any sense of the 31 missing letters?

They should be read in the grid from top to bottom, left to right, I went with the playwright.

Thanks crosswhit99 - that's what I thought but my letters don't make any sense....what's the reason for the other fella being in there?

The thematic occasion determines whether to insert E (for GM) or C (for AM) in the central cell. Check out their respective birth dates.

You have missed another red herring where you insert P for HM (a third creator) also present in the grid.

Shame there isn't a fourth one running vertically !

Searching for a few missing letters to complete the 2 works...can anyone parse 9d,10d and 13d please as I suspect some of the missing rogues may be in them??
