I have to sympathise with you, oldyalan. I was stuck for some time on 21a as I had managed to read the last word as "buried" instead of "hurled"!

Morni ng all. It looks as though it is going to be even hotter today! so better get Xword finished before heat and watching tennis melts my brain. THanks for tip about York. WIll have to look it up. HOwever I am stuck on 13 and 14D. I had got second word of 18A but had never heard of that sitcom. IS it an oldie, does anyone know?
