I once lived in a Scottish bothy (belonging to WD and HO Wills!) for three weeks on the Applecross peninsular, with no shops. We had a huge supply of SPAM and got quite creative (30 ways to cook with Spam). We didn't think of sculpting the meat, being always hungry, but you can do lots with the tins. If anyone saw the wonderful sculpture "Seriously Hot Water" at the St Ives Tate, you get the idea.
