That is one of them, Malone!
Also,
Driver needs this brown stuff, by the sound of it. (3,3)
Made me growl!

Thanks, Rusty, I too didn't like that second clue. I feel there's some inane stuff appearing in my crosswords these days!

Hi, Rusty!
A lovely afternoon out! Warm and sunny!
Did you enjoy your walk? How far did you go?
I didn't know about humidity chambers until you mentioned it!
But I do now.......I have been researching!
Callum Hawkins isn't the only athlete practising adjustment to the humidity.
Various other athletes from other countries are also working out in humidity chambers.
I don't think I see anything wrong with that?
It seems to me to be a sensible precaution?
It isn't being deceitful - nor is it illegal.
Why aren't you happy with it?
An Olympic event (women's football) is already taking place?
But we haven't had the opening ceremony yet!
(Am I missing something here?)
Now, regarding those two clues....
"Haiti" is supposed to sound like "high tea"?
No way!
But if I have the other one right......is the answer "car key"?
To sound like "khaki"?
I don't have a problem with the homophobe! ( although the clue sounds daft!)

BBC have eight Red Buttons?
Oops! I only know of four?
I think I need to speak to Malone!

Elle, I thought Car Key had a very poor clue and Haiti sounds nothing like High Tea.

I've just checked my Red Buttons. There aren't programmes on all of these right now, but this is what's listed...
200 BBC RB
600 RB 0, 601 RB 1, 602 RB2, 603 RB3...up to 607 RB 7. There's also 608 RB 24/7. There's a football match going on there right now, from the Olympics.

Good afternoon, Elle,
Surely a heat chamber is a mechanical aid?
I don't remember Alf Tupper using one.
Does it change anything in the blood for instance?
How many athletes can afford to use one?
Bit like Ethiopia trying to take part in the yachting.
They can't. Few countries can.
Yes, the Games are under way.
Women's football taking place today.
Think one game is Australia v Canada.
There is no "r" sound in khaki; there is in car.
Remember your Freeview Red Buttons are different from mine.
Mine come through Sky system.
i had a look at them earlier.
BBC4 will be showing the Games too!

You're welcome, Elle. I think the BBC have these all lined up and ready to use when the Games start. Before that, though, I might look in on the 24/7 one from time to time, just out of curiosity!

Hello, Elle!
Just to put the tin hat on the Olympics for you, Andy Murray will carry the flag!

Hey, Rusty!
I think a heat chamber is only the equivalent to an athlete training in a hot climate or at altitude.
This happens regularly and no one worries about it?
Who is Alf Tupper? I don't recognise the name?
How very odd that Olympic events start before the Opening Ceremony!
I am very selective about what I watch, so I guess I haven't taken all that much notice of the showing of other disciplines....
Does this always happen?
Had I thought about it, I suppose that Andy Murray's being picked for carrying the Team GB flag - Grrrh! - was perhaps inevitable after he won Wimbledon -- and of course the Davis Cup win.
Even while I commend his prowess, I cannot like the man!
If you are heading for Haiti, make sure you can pronounce it correctly, or Goodness knows where you will end up.......and better have "high tea" first in case you become hungry on the journey!
A glorious evening here!
