Good evening, Elle!
Never forget the Pribilofs!
They are for the bad folks!
I would be very wary of monkeys.
Did a little boy not get attacked by squirrels in England somewhere last week?
Busy or no, I think you should try and fit in your daughter.
Who is for the housetraining?
Pigale gave you a good tip for le Tour tomorrow.
Will be very scenic!
I am looking forward to it!

Good morning, Pigale!
Just had a look at the ospreys.
Only one bird there (the young male) then next I looked his sister had landed with a large fish.
The male had been doing a lot of helicoptering prior to this.
All seems well at the loch!

Good morning, Rusty!
We have yet another lovely warm day!
Last night was unpleasantly "close" though - I think we shall need to access the loft to hunt down our fans. Surprisingly, we haven't needed them so far this year.
Now......I am always there for my daughters!
But the next two weeks are already filled with hospital/ clinic appointments; workmen coming; and arrangements with friends that we had already made before elder daughter wanted to plan her visit.
And I certainly did not expect her to want to come immediately they took possession of the new pup, which they will do this coming Wednesday!
I had thought that a few weeks at home learning his new environment and being house -trained would be the "way to go"!
So I have kept all of August free so that she can decide when they want to come!
I cannot do more than that!
Yes, you are right , a little boy did get badly attacked by squirrels.
Ours though are vey gentle and friendly!
Right, a coffee , then the park........

Good morning, Elle!
May I say you appear to have your priorities in the right order!
It is not overly warm here.
I was out at the shop earlier. Ran out of coffee! Not good!

Hi again, Rusty!
I've just written you a long message!
We must have crossed!
Funnily enough, I'd just looked in the nest - one bird there then, plus the fish!
So baby brother must have only just flown the nest at last!
Going to get ready for off......

Morning Elle/Rusty,

My goodness you are early birds!

Talking of which I just had a peep at the nest where one sister is eating the fish, baby brother is watching and Lassie is making sure all is right! Good to know that the little male has finally fledged, and that one sister at least can fish her dinner.

Beautiful morning here, bright sun in cloudless sky, temp 28C already.

The riders might get a bit warm but there should be some breeze.
Looking forward to it.

Good morning, Pigale!
Lassie has done very well raising her nestlings!
I would prefer if Cherry and Co updated the blog more often, though.
Your weather is much better than mine.
I had central heating on earlier.
I think today may be my favourite stage on le Tour.
I think the Lacets du Grand Colombier are quite spectacular.
Be good to see if Thomas Voeckler can put his nose in the wind!
