Hello, Malone!
I suspect Bow is in London?
Bow bells?
Think I have it!

Hello, Elle,
1 Lindsey Vonn, 2 Tina Weirather, 3 Viktoria Rebensburg.
Great racing!
Vonn is closing in on the all-time Alpine skiing wins record, held for many years by Ingemar Stenmark.
She is the real deal!
Pleased for Tina. The wind did her no favours yesterday.

Glad you're all a bunch of intellectuals and got the answer - fortunately it wasn't a very 'ard clue.

Hello, Pigale!
An intellectual can be known as a "highbrow".
Now, how would that be said in Bow, according to the setter?

Hi, Rusty!
Well done, Lindsey! she is doing very well, indeed! and I'm pleased to see that Tina did better today after the mishap with the strong winds yesterday!
I've no idea how the time here compares with the United Arab Emirates, so that you can check on your golf? Could you not google to find out?
You have mentioned Faugheen before - an Irish horse? - is he named after the similarly spelt place, Faughan?
That was quite a good clue that Malone provided, I thought? - and it included an hononym, too!
We have now got a "window" of weak sunshine, so are just going out for a short walk.......................
