Sorry, Malone - as you were....I see you've already answered that!
At least there is a viable alternative then and the newly purchased clothes can be kept clean!

Good evening, Elle!
I am a fine young chap and do not have senior moments!
Achnasheen is a Highland metropolis consisting of a rail halt/station and several houses. Used to have a hotel but it burned down and was never rebuilt.
I wonder now how I knew Lyn lived in Hampstead?
Isn't life complicated!
Miss La Bamba and me went to Pine Cone and it was mobbed!
So, we retraced our steps and went to ASDA cafe, which was very good, but they had run out of bacon!
So, we had macaroni cheese and chips and very tasty it was, too!
No Chambers today.
Finished the crossword.
Remember you have to purchase The Times tomorrow?

Macaroni and chips? eeeek

Only evenings, chrise?

I'm just off to watch Gino de campo or whatever his name is. Aristo (which was an answer in today's Pointless!) would approve.

Hi, Rusty!
I've had a very productive day! We went to the crematorium early this morning with our plant.
Then came home for a while, before I went off to the High Street to buy the Christmas cards for family members, and to do a little bit of shopping.
I'm saving the bulk of the remaining shopping for presents till (probably) Monday when I shall go further afield to the "bigger" shops.
Monday is usually a quieter, less busy day.
My friend recovered somewhat, so I didn't need to cook the full dinner for her students; she just needed a little bit of tlc and moral support! All done now!
We've just finished our own dinner.......beef stew, potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. Delicious!
Thank you for reminding me about buying The Times tomorrow.......do you think our letters (or part thereof) will be in it though? as we've already had replies directly from Richard Rogan himself?
But I will buy the paper anyway, just in case.......
(Wasn't there something else that I was supposed to remember?)

Hello, Elle,
Your "tea" sounds very tasty!
Yes, you have had a busy day.
I will check The Times online at midnight and let you know if there is anything in it.
If our points are mentioned it will be in Rose Wild's Opinion column. But, will they...? No idea.
It depends what else folk have been writing in about, and Rose can't cover everything.

Good morning, Elle,
I cannot see Rose's column online.
You shall have to purchase the paper!

Good morning, Elle, again,
Cloudy but mild up here.
Just had a quick look through the Opinion pages in The Times and cannot see Rose's column. So? Wonder where she is?
I did spot a headline which caught my eye and made me smile.
"The Plot Thins".
I thought plots only thickened, but apparently not!
I will have another look later on.
Am engrossed in the skiing on TV at the minute.
