Hello, Elle!
Great weather at Gleneagles.
Georgia beat Lexi.
I think the Americans are going to win, but it will be close.
I think the crowd voting on BGT have poor taste.
I would hate to think it was rigged.
I did wonder why Diversity were not on.
I think Susan Boyle is touring, too.

Good evening, Rusty!
Well done, Europe!
You have had an enjoyable few days watching the golf tournament!
Have you ever been to Gleneagles to watch the golf "live"?
Although I suppose one can see it better on the television?
I found this myself when attending the Para - Athletics at the O2 Stadium.
We could see very little down on the track and field, and most spectators relied on watching the events on the various huge TV screens placed around the Arena.
We could soak up the atmosphere...but not see very much!

For what it is worth, I found out this about the BGT Super Fans......
Amanda Holden has said on Heart Radio: (quote)
"There are 250 people in the audience that have the opportunity to vote, there are 10,000 actually watching the show at Wembley, but 250 people producers picked to represent the public."
I still don't know if the same 250 people vote each week......or whether a fresh set of "Super Fans" are chosen for each airing of the show?
I think I shall disregard its being a competition from now on...and just watch the individual acts out of general interest.

Hello, Elle!
Yes, well done, Europe!
There won't be a cow milked in Europe tonight!
The tournament was played in great spirit by both teams.
Very enjoyable.
Charley Hull won her match today and is getting married next week.
The Americans almost did it, but Europe showed tremendous fighting spirit.
A super contest!
Wonder how the producers pick the super fans?
And we are not told how the voting has gone, just the top three.
And how does that info get to Ant and Dec?
I thought we would have a great final, but I do not think that way any longer.

Hi, Rusty!
I am looking forward to the next series of "The Voice: UK ".
Hopefully there will be no shenanigans there!
I am sadly disillusioned by this "BGT: The Champions" show.
My cousin has just texted to say that she is held up on her way home from her daughter's house....
She does not explain why.....possibly the traffic.
No problem, she will ring whenever she touches base!

Hello, Elle!
I am not very fond of Champions, too.
Too many mediocre acts on it, and gushing judges.
Your cousin could be stuck in traffic.
"Touches base" comes from the baseball game!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been talking to my cousin.
All is well with the north-western branch of the family!
They have not been having our lovely weather though.
Yes, excellent timing for Suzann Pettersen to announce her retirement
I do not know anything about her......
Is she retiring due to age? or for family commitments?.
Good to go out on a high!

Hello, Elle!
That is good about your cousin and kin in the North!
Suzann is 38, but she has a young son and has barely played in the last two years.
The team captain, Catriona Matthew, was criticised in some quarters for picking Suzann, due to her lack of play.
But it payed off big time!

Here is a wee clip of Suzann doing a bit of disco dancing while waiting to tee off!

Good morning, Rusty!
A damp morning here ....... we have unforecasted rain!
Cooler, too, than over the weekend.
I am in for the rest of the morning, anyway.
I have some deliveries expected but am now sure when.
Suzann looked happy in the clip!
Yes, the team captain made a good choice in selecting her.
And it was great for Suzann to retire on a peak!
What are you up to today?
