Salmon, too.
The dogs'll be the easy bit.
Now what way's North!
American buffalo always face into a blizzard, too.
Whereas we would turn away from it. Or, I would.

Good evening, Rusty!
How are you today? Did you have a good time when you went out with your granddaughters?
I am shattered! Today was supposed to be a 'rest day', as the grandkids were going out for lunch with friends, but they were awake at 5 am (!) and by the time 'lunch' time arrived, I had outplayed myself at board games!!
Then this afternoon we took pity on the dog, as she had gone to friends for the day yesterday, and so took her out for a long hike.
We are now back, children and dog fed and watered.
I'm just having five minutes sit- down! Then later it will be bath-time, bedtime stories and baby-sitting, whilst daughter goes out living it up!
Then I might get the chance to take a look at today's crosswords! ( Have you done yours yet?)

Hi, Doglet!
I'm glad that your bamboo is now flourishing! My (younger) daughter says to ask you for tips! She bought some to act as a screen against the back garden wall but it isn't doing so well?
Should she be 'feeding' it anything? or watering it a lot?
Hope all is well at your end? We're having fun but are shattered!

England bowled Australia out for 60 in 18 overs, and are currently 269-4 in reply.

Hi Elle My day has been gladdened by the cricket I have been resting and reading,I just discovered a Brewers 15th edition I was looking for books to give to the charity shop and it had fallen down the back of the shelf it cost me 14.99 whenever I bought it and it was printed in Finland. For a hedge the braader leaf bamboo is a lot hardier but they dont really like full sun but do like a lot of watering I love the sound they make when its windy

Rusty: I’ve been meaning to suggest that you try to hunt out a book I think you’d love, Edwin O’Connor’s The Edge of Sadness, about the Irish in America. It’s beautiful, full of humor and grace- truly intelligently written. It won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961. If you’re an old-fashioned “tactile reader”, look for the original Little-Brown edition.
