Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here, but a bit cooler!
How is your cat this morning?
The qualifiers for Roland Garros are on EuroSport this week, but from Sunday the championship proper is live on ITV4.
So you'll have to plan your day around that!

Hello, Malone, and welcome back to the forum!
Hope you enjoyed your break!

Good morning, Rusty!
Lovely and sunny here...very warm already!
I am not only back from the park......but have already been to vote for our MEPs!
How about that for efficiency?
The cat is now eating a little ("not a lot ") --- so a bit of improvement maybe, in that the pill seems to be doing its job in stimulating his appetite --- but he is still miaowing loudly from time to time.
It is decidedly unsettling!
(This must be where the word "caterwauling" comes from?)
We shall see how the day goes.......
I will have to leave him to my husband's tender mercies for a few hours, while I go to see how my friend is getting on.
I should be home again about teatime.......
Yes, never fear! I shall make time next week for the tennis!

Hello, Elle!
You are not as efficient as me.
I voted a while ago, by post!
Hopefully your cat will continue to improve.
I think you are correct with the "caterwauling"!
I have the first of the high mountain stages to watch in the Giro today.
My puzzle is finished, too.

Hello, Malone!
A break away from your normal routine does you good!
But it's always good to get home again, I think!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
I am home again now!
What a glorious day it is.
Have you been out for a walk?
Speaking of walking..... and voting.....it would be further for me to walk to the post box to deliver a postal vote, than to go to the Polling Station!
How has the cycling gone?
Whom are you supporting?

Several attacks split the field.
Stage win for Cesare Benedetti.
I am not supporting anyone, really, but I like Vincenzo Nibali, and I hope he goes well.

Good evening, Rusty!
I have been having a chat with my daughter.....
She was heading straight home tonight, as her husband was collecting the children earlier, from After- School Club and nursery.
They are all eagerly awaiting their long weekend in Eastbourne.
You will be looking forward to the return of your son tomorrow!
And missing his visit tonight!
Unless one of the girls has popped over to see you in his stead?
I am pleased to say that there is a slight improvement in my cat.....he is now eating a little!
Fingers tightly crossed that this continues when the effect of the tablet has worn off.
Otherwise I am to take him back for a second "dose"!

Good evening, Elle!
Is it tonight they go to Eastbourne?
Yes, I hope to see my son tomorrow, though they are usually very tired on the return journey.
No visitors tonight.
I have been getting updates and photos from my grandson.
He has moved into his new house today and all went well.
They have a great view over the river to Fife.
And I have been ordering stuff from Amazon which passed the time!
Let's hope the cat continues to improve!

Hi, Rusty!
No, the family is going to Eastbourne tomorrow, straight after school finishes for the half term break.
It will be a well deserved rest/ change for my daughter; she works very hard!
They are staying in an apartment attached to a hotel...it sounds very luxurious.
I hadn't realised that your grandson was moving into his new house today!
Have all the alterations /decorations / etc already been accomplished then?
Or are they doing things as they go along?
So what have you been ordering from Amazon?
