Hi, Rusty!
Hi, Rusty!
I am home now for the rest of the day!
It was decidedly nippy out, but, despite a glowering sky, the rain held off.
Yes, I agree with you.......I think Mel was entitled to her opinion.
Simon's response was out of order.
We cannot all agree .... and life would be pretty boring if we did!
Yes, I have got the Latin puzzle here........
My friend very kindly sent it to me again.
But I cannot, for some unknown reason, get my printer to enlarge it ...and at the moment the grid and writing of the clues are too small to see comfortably.....especially as the printing has come out a very pale pink!!!!
I need to investigate what is amiss with the printer.....uhm.......!
How are you getting on with the Grand National?

Oops, Rusty!
Apologies for the double salutation!
The greeting seemed to have disappeared...….so I typed it in again.....
And now we have two!

Good evening, Elle!
I have no suggestions about your printer, Elle.
I do not own one.
I had one a few years ago but did not replace it when it went kaput.
I don't need one, really.
I did three horses in the National.
One fell, Rachael came tenth, and Rathvinden came second.
A slight loss on the proceedings, today.

Good evening, Rusty!
I use my printer a lot, and should be lost without it.
I cannot understand why I am having such trouble with the Latin puzzle......the others all printed out satisfactorily.
Nor were the others pink!
I will have another play with the printer later.....
Ah, hardlines about your runners......but at least you did very well yesterday!
Only half an hour to go now until the Final of "The Voice".....
I am looking forward to it.
I liked three of the four finalists, so will enjoy the show!
I shall go make a coffee first.......

Update, Rusty!
It is now down to a sing- off between the final two contestants....Molly and Deana.....
So far, I have voted for both......
What to do?
I am torn.....

Hello, Elle!
Did you try Googling your problem with the printer?
There will be a solution out there somewhere.
And replacements are not too dear.
No hardlines with my runners.
They all did their best and I found the racing very enjoyable!
I have Peter Sagan to cheer tomorrow in the Tour of Flanders, but he is not in top form yet, so fingers crossed.
You will be pleased Molly won?
I was out earlier and it was quite cold.
Think the forecast is the same tomorrow.

Update, Elle!
I meant to post this earlier but forgot!
This is a little quiz The Times emailed me this morning.
These are book titles and their authors.
I got 2 and 5 correct!

1, ACYIKAC by MT
2, TTLUTS by JV
3, FOATI by EB
4, TPODG by OW
5, TTL by VW

I think you should get them!

Hi, Rusty!
I've played about with the printer...as far as I can tell, it is functioning properly in every other respect, but just not in printing that particular crossword!
It prints anything else perfectly adequately!
A mystery!
Yes, I am pleased that Molly won.....but Deana is very good , too.
I like them both.
I have enjoyed the series and am sorry that it is over!
It is exceedingly cold here, too...it felt freezing when I opened the patio door to let the dog out!

2. "Ten Thousand Leagues Under The Sea" by Jules Verne
4. "The Picture of Dorian Grey" by Oscar Wilde

I shall have a think about the others!
