Hi, Rusty!
But often there is an " 's " after a word......and only the word itself is taken into account?
Could that not be the case here?
Oh dear! both "BGT" and "The Voice" in the one evening?
Too much viewing for me!
I wonder why the powers-that-be could not wait just another week to begin the new series of "BGT"?
That would have been more sensible, don't you think?
Now......voting for the four contestants to go forward to "The Voice" Final has just finished.....
We shall have the results shortly!

Hello, Elle!
I have not seen " 's " tagged on a word like that.
It alters the meaning.
I think the apostrophe "s" means belonging to the singer.
And in this case the "treble" voice belongs to the singer?
I think the clue is too subtle for me.
I'll give way to the setter on this one!
I watch BGT on Sunday.
The Grand National is on in the afternoon and that will be plenty TV viewing for me.

Grandchildren fed, read to, bathed, teeth done and asleep this last hour. I'm exhausted!

Hi, Rusty!
The four contestants to go through to next week "Voice" Final are now decided!
I would have chosen three out of the four...so am quite pleased by the voting result.
I guess it is possible that either BGT or The Voice might be repeated on Sunday, so I could maybe watch one of the programmes then.
I usually record "Casualty" (on BBC1) on a Saturday evening, and watch the other show live.
I can only record one programme at a time.
Yes, you will be busy with the Grand National being on, too!

Hello, Ros!
You may be exhausted...but I am sure you have had a great time with the children!
And are they staying with you all day tomorrow , too?

Hello, Elle!
I imagine both the shows will be repeated on the Sunday.
ITV has several channels, so I'm fairly sure you can see both programmes.
I'll have a look tomorrow.
BGT seems to be early this year.
Usually May it starts, I think.

Hi elle

No, the children will be going home well before lunch. Perhaps there's a special one for mother's day

Good morning, Rusty!
Did you remember to put your clocks forward an hour?
It was dull, dark and raining, when I got up.........
I have not been out yet!
I think the plan is to go out for longer, later.......probably in the early afternoon.
Are you and the girls still heading off to the Pine Cone?
Right…... coffee coming up....and I shall take a look at the Everyman.......

Good morning, Elle!
Beautiful frosty morning here!
Should warm up, I think.
I put my clocks forward yestreen.
The young ones and me will try the Pine Cone but were warned it will be busy, if we can't get a seat, we will come back to ASDA cafe.
The cafe is quite good.
There is a new restaurant not far from me, but there was a piece in the local paper about folk complaining that their chicken dish contained claws and feathers.
So we won't be going there!

Hi, Rusty!
Still wet here...that wasn't supposed to be on the agenda!
I have been talking on the phone all morning to my children (and grandchildren).
They have all been ringing to wish me a Happy Mother's Day!
It is a shame that we cannot go out as originally planned , but we can do that in a couple of weeks, instead.
Meanwhile, I can eat my chocolates and look at my lovely flowers.......
I may have missed you by now........and you may be on the way to the Pine Cone with Misses O and O'H.
Yes, I should give the 'claws and feathers' a miss (at least they are obviously offering the "real deal" though!)
Have a good time!

Good afternoon, Elle!
How is your day going?
We had a good time at Pine Cone.
It was busy.
I've been watching the bike racing from Belgium.
It was interesting to see them race through the Menin Gate and Ypres.
And to see the Hooge crater and the cemeteries.
Unfortunately the commentators knew little about it.
I like the racing in Flanders, with all the history there.
The "claw and feathers" is at a brand new restaurant.
Getting bad stories in the newspapers could easily kill it off!
Plenty other places to eat!
