Much more abandonments are caused by getting hit by cars, or motor bikes, icy roads, lack of skill descending etc..
Dogs, horses, cattle, etc have all caused major crashes.
I think cats are far too sensible to get involved!
The vast majority of the peloton are exhausted now, but will be feeling light hearted today at breakfast.

I am firmly in the "anyone but Froome" camp.
I don't like Team Sky; much prefer the teams with much smaller budgets, like Europcar. More traditional and I am an old fogey! And Europcar have had men up the road every single stage. Attack, attack!

I had hoped Thibaut Pinot would win, but not to be.
And I had high hopes for Tejay van Garderen, but he had to abandon.
