Update, Rusty!
This clearance / reorganisation is becoming addictive!
I am now on my third wardrobe.......
The books will have to wait!

Good evening, Elle!
Three wardrobes ?!! Three of them ?!! Three ???!!!
Good golly!
You must have an enormous amount of clothes !!!
I make do with a single one.
What kind of apples do you eat?
Are they your own, or do you buy them?
I bought apples today, first for a long time.
I got fed up of ASDA pears.
They are far too hard.
So, I got Pink Lady apples.
They seem quite tasty?

Hi, Rusty!
The wardrobes are a fitted unit in our bedroom.......they comprise hanging space , drawers, and shelves.....and are shared by the two of us .....so not all that much individual space!
But it is amazing what a difference it now makes with only clothes and shoes in them!
I only like Granny Smith apples!
Crisp and green, and somewhat acidic in taste!
I don't eat any others.
We do have an apple tree in the garden...but the apples are Golden Delicious.
The birds usually get at them first anyway!
Apples are good for you!
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away"!
But you should eat the peel...which I'm afraid that I don't, as I dislike it!

Hello, Elle!
A declutter is good for the soul!
I think Golden Delicious are fine apples, if I remember correctly.
The Pink Lady was nice, much better than ASDA pears anyway!
I am staying away from them in future.
You would think they would have some sort of quality control on them.
I always eat the peel, except on bananas.
Why should we "eat the peel"?
Will it do wonders for my complexion, maybe?

Hi, Rusty!
Uhm.....I'm not sure about your complexion......
But the phytochemicals found in the skin of apples provide the main source of the fruit's anticancer and antioxidant properties.
I have always peeled my apples though...... I doubt I could be persuaded to change my ways now, no matter how "good" it might prove to be for me!
I peel pears , too!
Although I eat the skin of nectarines.
But you are definitely doing the healthy thing in eating the peel!!

Hello, Elle!
I shall continue eating the peel on fruits, I think.
It seems the natural thing to do, for me, rather more than for health benefits, though they would be very welcome.
I eat the skin on potatoes, too.
I have been on YouTube exploring.
Was trying to find out who originated the "high five" greeting, and when, but no definite answer.
And there is a "low five", too, which I did not know about.
It is very windy here!

A Very Good morning to you, Rusty!
A dull but fine day, here.
An enjoyable walk!
I am just eating my (peelless) apple.........
Yes, I, too, eat potato skins - the nicest part of the potato!
My grandsons do the "Give it high...give it low.... too slow....." routine!
The last being said to anyone not fast enough in responding!
What prompted you to think of its origin?
I shall now have a go at today's crossword......I didn't even get round to printing out the puzzles, yesterday!

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here, too.
Years ago there was no "high five" and I just wondered where it came from, that's all.
I saw an astonishing young lad on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, America, working out sums, on YouTube.
He decided not to go for the million, though.
And I watched Judith Keppel winning her Million.
I was out earlier, but was tipped off not to drive down town.
There are road closures down town all weekend, with the V&A opening, I think it's tomorrow.
I have no idea how folk are meant to get on and off the road bridge!
A mystery tour, methinks!

Hi, Rusty!
I think you told me that the V&A opens today, with special events to celebrate this, happening from this evening?
It should be a grand occasion!
I think I remember hearing that tickets were sold out.
Judith's million "pounds" question was concerning Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine.
I actually knew the answer!
"There, but for the grace of God, go I...", I thought!
A million pounds would be very useful!
(Think how many wardrobes I could have ?!)
Judith is still a stalwart "Egghead".
Didn't fellow panellists, Pat and Dave, also win a million pounds on "Who wants to be a Millionaire"?

Hello, Elle!
The V&A opens tomorrow, I think, it might be open today to invited people, I have lost track of what is going on.
There are Festival events on today close by, but it is pop and rock bands just.
Not catering for everybody, I do not think.
Far more to music than pop and rock, for me.
I have not heard of any of the performers, apart from Primal Scream.
It is on our TV this evening.
The road closures are affecting the bridge traffic going on, and coming off the bridge.
Going to be like that until Monday!
I don't know Pat or Dave, but there are lots of programmes on YouTube.
I thought I would watch Judith again!
The young American lad was awsome.
He was working out 15 digit calculations in his head!!!
