Good morning, Rusty!
Yet another beautiful day here.
It was pleasantly cool whilst I was out, but the temperature is set to reach 29C by midday.
My daughter and family will be on their way by now...... they are taking the car and going by ferry.
I am going out with a friend for the day.
She has just come back from her property in Majorca.....and is finding it just as hot,.....if not hotter!...... here!
We are doing some shopping, and then having lunch!
She is coming to collect me in about forty minutes, so I must away and change from my dog walking gear!
I'll catch up with you later......

I am having a canny day.
Not sure if my son will visit tonight.
The rain has freshened the river and the salmon and sea trout are coming in from sea.
So, that may be more rewarding for him!

Yes, thank you, I had a lovely day out!
It was great to catch up with my friend......and we enjoyed our lunch.
The restaurant was delightfully air- conditioned, and a lovely cool contrast to the heat outside!
But it now seems the heat is going to be doing us a favour.......
This coming Monday, our builders are going to start work on our fences and all the other building work / repairs that we requested.
And all this because the temperature will be too hot for them to do the rendering job that they had scheduled for next week!
So we are very lucky and can thank the weather for that!
Otherwise our list of jobs would have waited for at least another month!
We are happy it will all be done so quickly!
You may know by now whether or not your son will be coming today?
It is understandable that the fishing might beckon..... but he will no doubt come tomorrow instead, if not today?

My son was here.
But the salmon are running!
Think he is going fishing on Saturday.
One of my crowns (on tooth) has fallen out.
Always something happening!
The nest was empty earlier.
Will Lassie be on her way South, soon, I wonder?

Has it broken .....or will the dentist probably be able to re-fix it?

I only got halfway through the crossword today, as time defeated me!

Already I am told that they have been dispatched, so that is good.

Yes, I was pleased to see my son.
We watched a bit of the women's golf from Lytham.
I have a small interest in So-Yeon Ryu, and she is going along nicely.
Yes, my puzzle is complete.
A good one today.
I have no idea if my tooth can be fixed.
The bit that has came adrift has a pin in it?
I'll 'phone tomorrow and see how I get on.

I don't know how the crown procedure works?
I do have a crown, but I think it is fastened onto a filed down piece of tooth.......
I don't think there is a pin involved?
But I'm not sure....I could well be wrong.
Maybe a pin is used if there is not enough original tooth left to which to attach the crown?
You will find out tomorrow!

Well, there is a pin in this crown or whatever is it.
I'll 'phone my dentist when I come home from ASDA.
There is no pain so it is not a rush job.
Just when she can fit me in.

It is a fine day here.
Yes, I 'phoned my dental practice.
My dentist is on holiday just now and they wanted to book me to another dentist, for immediate attention, but I said "no".
I am seeing my own dentist on the 14th when she returns.
I have to wait in for a parcel today.
Another good puzzle today!
