Hello, Elle!
Yes, I was to the fore a bit earlier today.
Have several tasks to do, including cemetety visit.
I was at cemetery earlier.
Had the place to myself!
I was surprised to read about Lost Voice Guy having a series on Radio 4, too.
A lot of performers on BGT have a hard luck story, I have noticed.
One of my favourite tennis players is in action today.
Sloane Stephens!
She plays her great friend Madison Keys.
And I noticed that Willie Mullins had a horse running at Kilbeggan last night called "Bang Bang Rosie"!
Wonder if she is related to "Vroum Vroum Mag"?
Rosie was second!

Hi, Rusty!
It is good that you visit the cemetery regularly.
I need to pay a visit to the crematorium sometime soon.
I have been thinking that the lettering on my parents' marble memorial tablet needs redoing.... But somehow whenever it comes to my mind, an anniversary or birthday seems to be coming up, and it is an inappropriate time for the stone to be removed.
I must get my act together!
Re hard luck stories on BGT... I think they should be banned!!
Contestants should be judged purely on merit.
(And pigs might fly!)
I must away now and see if my husband has taken any notice of my instructions on what constitutes "smart casual wear" for our Afternoon Tea!
We are going up to London earlier than required, so as to make the most of our day out!
We are taking the train and tube.... no point in driving in town.
I'll catch up with you when we return...which should be early evening.
I hope you enjoy the tennis... and Sloane does well!

Hello, Elle!
I think Sloane and Madison play tomorrow!
I, too, am getting a bit fed up of hard luck stories on BGT.
I think the show needs a revamp!
I am sure your husband will look very smart for your outing!
No need to be nagging the poor man!
I hope you enjoy your posh tea and jaunt to the City!

Good evening, Rusty!
Finally, home again!
We had a wonderful time!
I was very impressed with the hotel...the staff was very friendly and helpful; and the service was great.
We had a lovely tea!
A delicious (unusual) variety of sandwiches, followed by scones with clotted cream and jam, and then an assortment of small cakes.
A choice of 24 blends of tea....or coffee if desired.
And afterwards, our waiter sent us home with a box of scone...….and the cakes we didn't manage to eat!
I would certainly recommend it !

Good evening, Elle!
Very good!
It sounds as if you had great service at Claridges.
Well done!
Still a lovely evening here.
And all good at the loch.
My, these chicks are growing!

Hi, Rusty!
It is a lovely evening here, too.
But the temperature is suddenly dropping...after reaching the high twenties this afternoon.
Apparently, Novak Djokovic has gone out at Roland Garros....seemingly he may now not take part at Wimbledon?
I do not know why?
I only heard a snippet...I may find out more later.
I am tired ......it's been a busy day!
I seem to have done a lot of walking...... apart from when having my Afternoon Tea!

Hello, Elle!
I do not know about Djokovic.
I think Murray may miss Wimbledon too.
Yes, you day seems to have been busy!
Back to normal tomorrow, maybe?
I was busy too, today!
Missed the cycling!

I liked this little girl on a bike giving a thumbs up to a lorry driver!

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull start to the day and quite cool.
It makes for a more energetic walk though!
I intend to take the rest of the day at a more leisurely pace......
Crosswords this morning...another walk this afternoon.....and that is all that is on my horizon at the moment!
How about you?
Will you be watching Sloane play tennis?
It will make for a poorer Wimbledon if Novak and Andy do not participate........
I wonder what will happen there?

Good afternoon, Elle!
Fine day here!
I have quite a few things on today and tomorrow.
So, no tennis or cycling for me, I'm afraid.

Hi, Rusty!
I am just home from the park.
Luckily we timed it well...and just missed a rain shower!
That young cyclist, on the video clip you sent me, looked a little young to be out on the road?
But she was very cute the way she gave the thumbs up sign to the lorry driver!
I only mentioned the tennis because I know that Sloane Stephens is a favourite of yours and I thought, if she were playing today, you might have wanted to watch her.
A pity if you had to miss it.
I haven't had the time to watch any tennis myself, either.
My "lazy day" did not quite pan out as I'd planned!
Your son has most probably arrived by now.......
I hope you both enjoy your chat!
