Good evening, Elle!
I would doubt that it is a BBC poroduction.
Probably bought in from someone else.
I have heard of Heywood!
Hope BGT is good tonight.
I am recording it!
Heavy rain and lightning in Orlando!

Hi, Rusty!
I am watching BGT, but on the ITV1+1 channel, as I wanted to finish my book first...so we are only fifty minutes into the show.....
I shall withhold comment until you have watched it for yourself.......but I am suffering somewhat!
Maybe it will improve?
I'm sorry about your son's bad weather...... thunder and lightning is not good holiday weather!
How long are they there for?

Update, Rusty!
It was worth sitting through all the more humdrum acts, because the very last act of the show was just wonderful!
A Welsh singer who blew everyone away!
Amanda gave him the Golden Buzzer.....and a big hug!
Incredible!

Good morning, Elle!
A fine morning here!
I hope the Florida weather improves, but at least it is not the hurricane season there.
My son is there for two weeks, I think.
A pity there were a lot of indifferent acts on BGT.
i shall watch it later this morning.
Have one or two things to do before I meet the girls for the Pine Cone!

A Very Good morning to you, Rusty!
You were up very early this morning!
I thought I was an early riser at 6 am!
A beautiful morning here, too!
The sky is blue, the sun is shining.....
"God's in his Heaven, All's Right with the World."
We had a great walk.
We got mixed up with London to Brighton Mini Run though......I hadn't realised that it was today!
I am about to make a coffee and look at The Everyman...my usual Sunday morning routine!
What time are you meeting the girls to go to the Pine Cone?

Hello, Elle!
I am often up quite early in the lighty times of the year.
No sign of an egg hatching so far.
Can't be long now!
Just watched BGT.
Yes, Gruffyd was a super singer.
He may win?
He has great pals, too, they were delighted for him and very supportive.
Now, I know it's part of the show to look for hard luck stories, but I thought Simon Cowell was way out of order in asking Gruffyd why he did not live with his parents.
Not remotely his business, or ours!
He lives with his Nan, and I'd say Nan will be delighted with him.
Rant over!
Girls wiil be here at 11.

Hi, Rusty!
I think that last week's excellent singer, Ronan, and Gruffyd are probably the strongest contenders to win so far?
The dark haired guy with the beard, supporting Gruffyd, said he is his brother.
Yes, I agree with you...Simon was well out of order asking such personal questions.
I often think that the "hard luck" stories are "planned" to gain audience and viewers sympathy .....but this was obviously not so, and was causing distress.
Simon did realise and belatedly backed away from it.....but if these auditions are recorded , I wonder why the incident wasn't cut out?
Have you seen the baby barn owls?
They are not always easy to catch as mum sits on them!
I hope the link works

Good evening, Elle!
My first view of the barn owlets!
Maybe an osplet tomorrow?
I had a look at Paddy P's betting for BGT.
Marc Spellman (magician), and Jack and Dad, are joint favourites at 4-1.
Gruffyd is 7-1 (could be worth a dabble!)
And your neighbour, "the Bury lad," Simon Yates, won today's stage in the Giro.
He attacked on the final mountain and won well, and extended his lead.
Things are looking promising for him, but still a long way to Rome!
It's also a long way to Tipperary, but that's another tale!

Good evening, Rusty!
Have you had a good day? How are your granddaughters ?
It has been glorious here...and pleasant out, as the temperature did not rise too high.
Quite fresh...….we were out for quite a while this afternoon.
The barn owlets are cute, aren't they? I only got my first good look at all of them, myself, this morning, when mum finally raised her head long enough for them to move about!
She very quickly shoves them back and covers them up again!
Now I had forgotten Marc Spellman...yes, he was very clever, wasn't he? ...with a pleasing personality......but I wonder what he can produce for another performance?
We shall see......
Was there no mention of Ronan, "the man from Tesco"......or Father Ray......in Paddy P's forecast?
Well done , Simon from Bury!

Hello, Elle!
The girls and me had a fine time.
They were going to Gran and Granddad's for tea.

Been a fine day here.
The forecast for Orlando is awful!

Yes, Paddy P has odds for all 52 contestants.
Ronan is 14-1, so is Lifford.
Father Ray is 12-1.
The odds go all the way to 100-1 for some of the contestants.
I think next week may be the final heat, then we go to the live shows.

Tuesday will be the big day for "the lad from Bury".
It is the individual time trial.
He is not great at that discipline, so must ride to restrict his losses to Tom Dumoulin etc as much as possible.
After that, it is back to the mountains again and he will be in his element.
The Giro finishes in Rome next Sunday, and fingers crossed that Simon may be the first British rider to win the Giro!
Tomorrow is a rest day.
