It is a dull and cold day here.
The maximum temperature reached will only be 8C!
A tad nippy out early on!
I am drinking a piping hot coffee to warm me up!
How did you like BGT?
I liked the young girl, Amy , near the beginning. she was very nervous but sang beautifully.
I also thought the "fantasy illusionist" was very slick - I have no idea how it was done!
The older lady, Mandy, who was a comic magician was unusual.....that was both funny and clever.
But my favourite by far, was the father and son singing act from Norwich!
They even wrote their own song!
And Simon awarded them the Golden Buzzer and went up on the stage!
A very worthy act!

It appears that we liked the same acts!
Amy was very good!
I liked Lexi and Christopher dancing, too.
The illusionist was very clever.
No idea how it was done, but that's the way it should be!
I liked Mandy, too.
But Jack and Dad were great!
They reminded me of Simon and Garfunkel.
They were the best act for me and rightly deserved the Golden Buzzer, I think.
Overall, it was a good show with some sparkling acts and some who were awful!
Very BGT, in other words!
Well, I am all ready for my wee outing with La Bamba.

I was amused by the young girl's insisting that her partner was future husband material...... and his refuting the idea very positively!
My ten year old grandson has already had several proposals of marriage!
(Whatever happened to childhood?)
I liked the Everyman crossword today.... slightly harder than of late - but all done and dusted.

My wings are sprouting, this morning I took my 2 grandchildren and son bowling (it is my grandson's 8th birthday) and we have just had a great lunch. Doughballs, croissants, chocolate ice cream to order. I made the latter but was the only person to have any! Am exhausted, time for a quick zzzz

We are just back from a walk.
It was freezing cold out.........just like the middle of Winter again!
I shall dig out my gloves for tomorrow!
I have recorded the World Series Triathlon in Bermuda, so still have that to watch.
I don't think either of the Brownlee brothers was competing?
Incidentally, Alistair was on Mastermind yesterday!
Jonny was in the audience, supporting him!

I didn't actually do any bowling, elle, my fingers are too sore these days. But I've recovered from the general noise and pandemonium yes, thanks. My grandson did indeed chose the menu but I think they were too full of birthday breakfast to eat much!

Yes, according to our local weather forecast, not only will it be cold....5C throughout tomorrow ....but we shall have rain, starting from 9 pm tonight until 1am on Tuesday morning!
