Good morning, Rusty!
Fell dreich here! A very poggy walk!
It is forecast to rain from early this morning until this time tomorrow!
Yuk!
Now, a slight change of plan......
My daughter's migraine of yesterday has not abated overnight...so they will no longer be arriving today, but (all being well) coming early tomorrow morning instead.
So I have an unexpectedly "clear" day ahead of me!
Still, I have the Everyman to do...and "The Voice" to watch properly!
You, on the other hand, sound to be very busy!
I hope this catches you before you go out.......
Have a great time with the girls!

Hello, Elle!
It's a lovely day here, and at Paris (I have the cycling on!).
A "Sunday in Hell" has just began at Paris/Compiegne.
They have just passed the place where the Armistice was signed in 1918.
A pity about your daughter but there's always tomorrow!
You will be fine with the Everyman!
The Paris marathon was on earlier.
Not sure who won but it was great weather!
I am getting collected at 11 for Pine Cone, then home to watch the race and the golf in the evening.
All go!

Hi, Rusty!
Are you home again now?
I hope you all had a good time.
What did you eat?
I have looked in on the ospreys - only one in the nest, but its back is firmly turned to the camera and I cannot decide which it is.
There is no new info on the blog...... it really is a poor do!
I finished the Everyman earlier...I have answers for all the clues, but two still to parse.
I have been reading my book......but am now about to watch "The Voice" (all of it this time!)
I shall miss the show now that its run has finished.
I hope you enjoy the cycling.......

Update, Rusty!
I thought you might like to listen to all three songs that Ruti sang in "The Voice Final?
"If you're not the one" by Daniel Beckinfield.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUzyQztIU7k
And the duet with Tom Jones "What a Wonderful World!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZTSwqa0g3s
And of course, "Dreams" which she sang in the 'sing-off'....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFvY4iYSioo
I hope the links work!

Good afternoon, Pigale!
Peter Sagan was brilliant!
He left the Quick-Steps in his wake today.
Yes, ten out of ten for the Swiss champion.
He worked hard with Sagan all the way.
A true rider!
Now, Sagan gets to take a cobblestone home!

It is the first time he won Paris Roubaix, isn't it?

Shame about Geraint Thomas, and also that poor rider who
had a heart attack (after a fall I think?)

They were lucky with the weather though!

Good afternoon, Elle!
Been a lovely day here!
I had a bacon roll at Pine Cone.
Just me and Miss O today.
The only info that I have seen from the Rangers today on Twitter, is about frog spawn.
No mention of the birds. No surprise there.
Well done on Everyman!
Cycling was great!
A win for Sagan!
Geraint Thomas crashed out on the cobbles but I think he is OK.
There are two riders in hospital but no info on them.
I think there was a defibrillator used on one of them.
I liked the duet with Ruti and Tom.
Thought it was smashing!
She is very good.
She sounds very like Dolores O'Riordan when she sang "Dreams".
I was impressed!

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, it sounds as if a rider may have had a heart attack.
I do not know if he crashed or fell off when having the heart attack.
I believe a defillibrator was used on him?
Hope he is OK, and the rest of those who crashed.
Yes, a fine day for the race.
The dry weather makes the cobbles less dangerous, thankfully.
