Hi, Rusty!
It seems we can expect some "light" snow for another couple of hours before it ceases.
I was wrong about its not sticking though.......we do have a further covering of fresh snow everywhere, in some cases covering patches of ice.
That might prove treacherous tomorrow.
Ah well, very soon, it officially will be Spring!
Psychologically, that may make us feel better!
Yes, I remembered that it was my turn to phone my cousin!
All is well up north, but they have had a lot of snow - far more than we have here.
My cousin very sensibly decided to remain indoors.
All being well, I am planning on my early walk tomorrow.......
Dog groomers in the afternoon.
I wonder will Laddie arrive?

Hello, Elle!
I think I have got off lightly with the latest snow, compared to you folks in the South.
Be nice to see the end of it, though!
Goodness knows about Laddie!
Will have to keep an eye on my Twitter account for any update by the rangers.
At least until they get their camera working properly!

Hello Elle and Rusty!

In a way, I am sure Laddie has got sense and will remain wherever
he happens to be near a water/food point until wind etc stop - animals generally have a lot more instinct than we do.

Just a flurry of the white stuff this morning which did not stick,
but minus 3C now - The roads are damp, so I hope early commuters
will not have problems.

Hello, Pigale!
I hope Laddie is safe wherever he is.
But the breeding instinct will drive him onwards.
He may even have to fight for "his" territory at the loch with younger males.
Nature can be tough!
Minus 3 is cold, Pigale.
I wish the warmer weather would come!

So do I, Rusty, so do I !!!
and so do the black birds and smaller birds in my garden!
They look lost and don't know what to do!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a very cold icy morning here!
We still have snow in the garden, and on rooftops and cars.
The pavements are reduced to a shimmering of ice, but the roads are gradually clearing.
I think conditions will improve as the temperature rises a little.
We are to reach a high of 2C.
I am drinking coffee and doing the crossword.
Later on, we are to go the dog groomers, but not until midday.
What is it like up your way?

Hello, Pigale!
I'm sorry...I didn't read your post until this morning....I had gone to bed!
We have the relics of the weekend's snow with which to contend. .... icy pavements and side roads..... but I think this is the last of it.
What sort of a day are you facing?

Good morning, Elle!
It is a beautiful morning with me!
Not a cloud in the sky and temperature is rising.
We will get 6C today!
Still snow lying but hopefully that is the last of it!
I was out earlier and everyone was cheery to greet the lovely day!

Hi, Rusty!
Lucky you with your beautiful day!
Dull outside here..... and a tad 'grim' indoors....
We have had Barclaycard Fraud Squad on the phone....... it seems that this morning, someone has been using my card number to top up their phone - three times!
Ever a Doubting Thomas, I insisted on ringing the Fraud Squad back from the number on the back of my card (in case it was a scam).... but it does appear to be true.
Luckily the Fraud Squad had declined the transaction, and notified us that they had put a temporary block on our cards, until they had spoken to us.
Cards now stopped permanently and we are awaiting new ones!
It is good to know that the Fraud Squad is on the ball and looking after our interests.
Just what I needed though to start my day........!
Drama over with...back to the crossword..... and a second cup of much needed strong coffee!

Good that you insisted on phoning the number on your card, as there are so many scams .

Hello, Elle!
An eventful start to your day!
I think you were wise to hang up and call your Fraud Squad number.
Seems Barclays is on the ball. Well done!
Good luck with your puzzle!
Sorry to go on about it, but it is wonderful weather here today!

Good morning, Jazzgirl!
