I was surprised to find that "crew" could be the past participle of "crow"?
I have only known this as "crowed".
Although Chambers does assure me that "crew" in that context does exist.
I have learned something new today!
Although I doubt I shall be using the word in that way!

Yes, I still have the letter and photo from Jackie.
I like the Mullins clan!
Fairly often Willie will have horses running at two different courses on the same day.
Then, Willie heads up one team, and Jackie is in charge of the other.
I agree about "crew", but in my experience, you will rarely find that the setters are wrong.
They have maybe gone a bit deeper into a meaning of a word.
No harm in that!

It was near Loch Leven, which has wonderful trout, so a good stopping off point on the way North.

All quiet on the eyelash front, and I do not know what is involved in getting eyelashes "done"!
She may come with her Dad in the evening.
The Storm Sure is good stuff.
My repair on walking shoes has not worked very well.
I have had these shoes many years and they need replaced.
A trip to Millets is on the cards!

The eyelashes remind me of an incident long ago, when we (mum, dad, two sons) were staying with some (rather remote) family to visit DisneyLand. This would probably be the one and only chance we would ever get, but the teenage girl of the host family was allowed to hold us all up while she went shopping for eyelash curlers and then used them. So we were, of course, late. She wasn't meeting a boyfriend and we couldn't see any difference in her eyelashes!
It still makes me cross
