Mine is a Schubert whatever the reference, but it also includes
a synthetiser part, which I never use!
I am happy experiencing with the different instruments sounds
though, ie accordéon for French songs, etc...

Don't you have a piano anymore?

Hello, Elle,
We had a fine time, thank you!
More likely to be a traffic accident than a robbery, I would think?
No athletics for me today.
Watched a bit of the cycling and the horse racing from Ireland.
No snow yet, but they say it is on the way in the next day or two!

Pigale, I have just the keyboard with synthesiser and love using all the various instruments (with headphones on so as not to annoy anyone)
I intend to buy a Kawai CN35 digital piano this year.
My old piano had to go, as the keyboard bed collapsed and no one was prepared to fix it.

Is my memory correct, JG, and Winnie Atwell was a honky-tonk pianist?

I enjoyed having a piano in the house but when it morphed into a Hammond organ I wasn't so happy and it is now in the basement of an Oxford College on permanent loan.

I used to love listening to Scott Joplin being played

I can't keep up with all the posts !

Ros,
Yes Winnie was the honky-tonk pianist. I used to be able to play Black and White Rag along with her record. Now I cannot reach half the speed ! I have all the Scott Joplin sheet music which my husband gave me as a Christmas present one year.

Elle, road traffic accident was on the A214 (see earlier post)

I just had a look at the Kawai CN35 JG, it certainly seems a beautiful
instrument.
I don't particularly want a digital piano, but would be quite happy
to upgrade to a small (but 7octaves) upright piano, with pedal, which
I am sadly lacking with the keyboard - and cannot be added as an
extra:
I am lucky that I have no immediate neighbours as such (well, several
metres on either sides, plus hedges etc... and only the cats listening
at home! (unfortunately, but my husband used to love listening to
my efforts!)
There are several second hand uprights for sale, in excellent nick,
but the problem is that they don't deliver, and the cost of transport
might be more than that of the bargain offer!

My sister had an organ as a Christmas present years ago. I could play "Lady of Spain" quite well on it (according to my cloth ears). I admire anyone who can play the piano.

Geevo, my AB username is the same as this one. What's yours? ;)

I miss the pedals, as it is hard to sustain the notes without them. There is a sustain button on my present keyboard, but not satisfactory. I like the Kawaii as it is light and portable

Mozart's Turkish March (La Marche Turque) is proving rather
fast for me now!

Everything is too fast for me now!
Here's a demo I uploaded last year when I decided this piano as my choice.
