Hi, Rusty!
Haddock for tea sounds good!
I finished both the Times 15 x15 and the Jumbo GK.
I especially liked 9a, 26a and 27a in the Cryptic puzzle!
23a gave me pause for thought, though, at first, as I wanted to fit in "Ag" for silver!
It took me a while to see "Psst"!
I have one or two parsings over which I am still mulling.......
I shall take the dog in the garden before I go and wash my hair!
Oh dear...it is raining very heavily now......

Hello, Elle!
Well done!
Quite a nice puzzle today.
Think I have the parsing done, too.
I have deleted The Times Crossword Club email.
One a day is enough for me!
I am luckier than you with my weather!
Nice and sunny here!
Hope it continues for a day or two.
Up here we say "hoi !" for "psst".

Hi, Rusty!
We still have rain...but at least the vestiges of snow disappeared - this is pure unadulterated rainfall!!
No more sleet!
Yes, I enjoyed the puzzles today!
I always like the Saturday 15 x15........and I shall have the Everyman tomorrow!
Are you still watching the Olympics?
My evening agenda is dinner very shortly...then watching "The Voice : UK " at 8.15 pm.
I have set "Casualty" to record - hopefully, it will work this time!
My last week's effort was a dismal failure!
I don't know what I did (or didn't do)!
How was the haddock?

Good evening, Elle!
My haddock was fine!
It is still dry here, thankfully.
No more Olympics today.
The men's downhill is in the early hours tomorrow.
I think Aksel Lund Svindal will be there or thereabouts.
But he has had a lot of injuries, so we shall see...
The puzzle was another good one.
Well done the setter!
No puzzle for me tomorrow!
I am going out with my granddaughters for a bacon roll!
Going to have a browse on YouTube later this evening.

Hi, Rusty!
We had the remainder of the Shepherd's Pie with Baked beans for dinner!
Very tasty it was, too!
Will you stay up late to watch the Men's downhill.......or will the highlights be shown tomorrow morning?
Or, I guess, if you have a programme of events, you could record it, to watch at your convenience?
You will not have a lot of spare time tomorrow, though, if you are out for breakfast/ brunch with your granddaughters?
How many granddaughters are going?
Is Miss L-B still away in Dublin?
Or was she only there for last weekend?

There are two and possibly three granddaughters going with me.

Sorry, Rusty.......
It wasn't meant to be an "inquisition"!
It's just like talking isn't it, questions just 'pop out'!
I'm now going to make a coffee, ready to watch "The Voice" shortly........

Hello, Elle!
Glad you liked your show, Elle!
It is raining heavily now.
My friends across the water have just landed at Belfast International and it is snowing and blowing a gale!
They had been at an island, Fuerteventura (I think), in the sun!
So, a big change getting off the aeroplane!

Hi, Rusty!
You are in good company.......
We still have heavy rain here, too!
But that is a rude awakening for your friends , arriving back in Belfast to snow and gales........ especially having spent a holiday in the sun, on one of Spain's Canary Islands!
Brrrh! I am shivering for them!
I hope they had warm coats with them!
