Good afternoon, Elle!
You were right to walk not so far, and be well wrapped.
Only sensible!
I was at ASDA early on but am home for the day.
My grandson is visiting after tea before he goes to play 5 a side football!
I made my firstest ever "smoothie" today.
I used milk, plain yogurt, custard, banana and kale.
It was fine!
I'll have a look in ASDA tomorrow for other ingredients.

Hi, Rusty!
Well, you are one up on me......... I have never made a smoothie!
It sounds a healthy option?
I drink mostly water though........
Although having said that.........I have just had a broccoli and cauliflower cuppa soup - and delicious it was , too!
Also nice and warming!
I may have a yoghurt.......
My online pet food delivery has just arrived -- well ahead of schedule.
I am very pleased!
I had nearly let the dog run out of food whilst I have been ill......
She would never have forgiven me!
It will be nice to see your grandson.

Hi Rusty, I have just had a reply from Nicky at the Loch and he
said 'you are indeed right' about the picture being still-
I has now been put right, albeit they have change the angle of
the camera which is now showing a close-up picture of the nest!
But I can see tree slightly moving, so it must be live.... so far?

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, that's a live picture!
But....of an empty nest!
it was much better when they showed the loch and the ducks and swans.
What is going on in their heads, I wonder?
At least you have heard from Nicky.
I have had no reply from Christy, but it could be her day off.

Hello, Elle!
I used my electric kitchen blender for the smoothie.
Very easy. Takes a few seconds.
I'll think up other things to put in it, like tomatoes and apples, oranges, nuts etc
Going to have my tea now before my grandson calls.

Hi, Rusty!
It sounds as though you have hit on a very good idea for a healthy drink!
I shall look forward to hearing of future recipes!
Now....... I have had a surprising visitor this afternoon!
A lady called round who introduced herself as the mother of a young man who has bought the house next door!
I have yet to meet this mystery buyer, so this was all somewhat of a surprise to me!
As far as I can gather, her son - and partner/ wife? - has bought the house and is planning to work on it himself with the help of professional builders.
The lady caller - very nice, very pleasant - said she didn't know who exactly was going to be living there.
At present, as far as I can gather ( her English is limited) her son /partner and herself all live together locally.
I daresay more information will come to light, as the situation unfolds.........
Maybe the whole family will move in.......it is a very large house......
It was lovely to meet her anyway!...and very nice indeed of her to call!
I hope you have had a nice visit from your grandson?

Hello, Elle!
You do not need recipes for smoothies.
Throw any fruit or veg into a blender and add ice cream or yogurt etc.
Just use your imagination.
No cooking involved.
Takes a few seconds, is all.
It was nice of the new neighbour to call, or his Mum.
She would be checking you out, Elle.
My grandson won't be here until around 7 o'clock.
He is doing a wee job for me.

Hi, Rusty!
No doubt we shall eventually get to the bottom of the new neighbour saga.......but it is nice that the lady wishes to be friends!
Has your grandson sorted out the job for you?
How good of him to pop round to help you out.
We have had dinner.........
I have been reading since then, but still have "Eggheads" recorded to watch
I shall do that now, I think........
