Thank you Rusty - A brilliant routine dance act to dream about as I am dropping off.... in not too long now!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been watching Ashleigh and Pudsey.
No, I had never seen them......only heard about them from you!
It was long before I ever watched BGT.
What a clever and adorable dog!
I am not surprised that they won!
I am not convinced about that parsing...I know Mark is an expert, but I cannot see why our version is wrong?
I shall listen again - more carefully - to Mark tomorrow!
Now...I am going to bed!
Talk tomorrow.......

Good morning, Elle!
Glad you liked Ashleigh and Pudsey!
one of my very favourite BGT acts!
Pudsey was brilliant and Ashleigh had an abundance of natural unaffected charm.
Worthy winners!
Frost has disappeared overnight here!
Heading out soon.
Visiting to do!

Good morning, Pigale!
Hope you are well!
Still cold here.
Ashleigh and Pudsey were a treat to watch.
You can't beat a dancing dog!
Unfortunately Pudsey is no longer with us.
He died not so long ago and I think Ashleigh was devastated.
They were great together!

Good morning, Rusty!
Wet here - and cold!
I doubt I am in time to catch you; most probably you will be at your son's house by now.
I hope you enjoy your visit!
I am away out shopping now ....hopefully, all will be finished today.....
But if not, I shall surge forth again on Monday!

Hello, Elle!
Home now!
Had a nice visit.
Side roads are treacherous with black ice, pavements too!
I can see A & E being busy with folk falling on the ice.
Hope your shopping goes well!

Hi, Rusty!
Home at last!
I am exhausted but triumphant!
We had a good day in Bromley......
All, barring a few bits for the children, has been bought!
I still want to get colouring books, drawing pads, coloured pencils, and such, but I can get these locally.
I have just had a coffee (desperately needed !) and am now going to write such of the family cards as cannot be hand delivered - and pop out and post them!
The pillar box is not far away!
It is very cold - I hope the (damp) pavements do not freeze!

Good evening, Elle!
So good old Bromley has came up trumps for the Christmas gift buying!
Well done!
I hope the damp pavements don't freeze too, but I am pretty sure ours have!
The Pine Cone is at quite a higher elevation from my house and the higher you go the colder it gets, so hope the roads are OK up there tomorrow!
Yes, I am sure you will find colouring books etc in quite a few stores.
Might be a bit risky ordering them on Amazon so near to Christmas.
Just ten sleeps to go, Miss La Bamba tells me!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, we had a successful day!
Tiring though........we didn't stop for lunch or even a drink...
We considered it, but everywhere was so crowded and busy........it was simpler to plod on , get done........and go home!
Any word from your friends from Belfast?
Have they arrived by now?
I hope they had a good flight?
Is it they with whom you are going to the Pine Cone tomorrow?
Or your granddaughters?
Miss L-B has had me counting on my fingers!
Yes, she is correct!
BB will be impressed with me, when I tell him that tomorrow!

Hello, Elle!
Tell BB it's 9 tomorrow!
They have the sleeps to go, up on the blackboard at the Pine Cone!
Last I heard from my friends they were passing Stirling, a few hours ago.
They will be somewhere in or around town.
They know a lot of folk here!
Yes, meeting them just after the cafe opens.
I think it could be busy-busy!
Miss O decided that was a bit early for her on a Saturday morning and is going with me on Sunday instead!

Hi, Rusty!
Nine sleeps tomorrow!
Not much time left to get organised........'tis as well I don't have to cook Christmas lunch this year!
I'm making heavy weather of buying the presents, let alone planning the menu!
Our son-in law is cooking this year!
I shall cater for the New Year's Day gathering, though.......
That is including the six grandkids!
You shall have an early start tomorrow.......what time does the cafe open?
I shall think of you, sitting in the warm, eating a bacon roll......whilst I am out walking the dog in the freezing cold!
