Hello, Elle!
I'd have thought there were plenty hills in Nepal for their film, but they appear to have taken a shine to our Law!
Hope it works out for them!
In crossword lingo the "bottom left corner" translates as the "South West" corner!
I have finished but the South East corner made me struggle, especially 25d.
Leave the puzzle for a while and return, often the answer jumps out then.
Tomato soup is good.
I have lentil and bacon, made by me!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just realised that I do not know my left from my right!
It is the bottom RIGHT hand corner that has foxed me.....namely 24d and 29a.
I have some letters...but no answers ......
25d? I have "with" for that?
IT for sex; w- wife; h- husband
I am going out with the dog now...
Light may dawn on the errant clues when I return!

Hello, Elle!
Tut, tut!
You and your "senior moments"!
I have lots of those!
I have "with", too, and it took me ages to get it.
I was sure it was "item" for a fair time!
My last one, in fact.
29, is a word that I have seen but did not know what it meant.
I thought it had something to do with a disease.
It does if you add "a" to it.
It sounds like a sort of band, that a clergyperson may wear?
I hope that is not too obvious and spoils your puzzle!
Enjoy your walk!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I enjoyed my walk.......although some blue sky and sunshine would have been nice!
It has been a very dull and depressing sort of day.
Did you go out for a walk this afternoon?
Now....
29a: Thanks to your hints, I have got it.......
"choler" = irritability (def)
Sounds like "collar" - band
4d fell into place with the additional letter.....
"polar" = "remote northern" (def)
Po and R- rivers
LA - city
All done! Thank you!

Hello, Elle!
Well done!
We'll have to enter you in the Championship next year!
"Choler" is not a word I have used, or heard used, but no matter!
A good puzzle, I think?
No, I stayed home today.
Was hoping for a 'phone call, and it came, so that's fine.
I hear Storm Caroline is on her way!
Arriving on Thursday they say.
I was reading that the World Premiere of the Nepal film is in Aberfeldy!
I'd say a World Premiere for Aberfeldy would be a first!

Hi, Rusty!
I only got "choler" after a massive hint from you!
But yes, it was a good puzzle.
I liked 2d: "maximised", too.
There was a question on "Eggheads" about the River Tay!
I haven't heard much about Storm Caroline?
Is it likely to hit your area?
I think snow is meant to follow in its wake?
(or should that be "her" wake?)
Isn't it strange how Aberfeldy is suddenly prominent in the News after Peter and Sally's decision to move there?
I shall pass on the info about the Nepalese film premiere!

Hello, Elle!
If I heard someone say "choler" I would think only of "collar" anyway, so the "new" word would be lost on me!
Yes, "maximised" was a good one, and "Abigail".
I got a Tweet from Tayside Police giving a weather warning, that's all I know about "Caroline".
I think she is approaching from the West so maybe not affect me too much.
A great place is Aberfeldy!
The talk of Nepal!
The cinema is called the "Birks", too.
Peter and Sally better book their seats for the Premiere quickly, or it will be sold out to all the sherpas coming over for the opening night!
Not to mention the Gaelic Choir!

Hi, Rusty!
Speaking of good clues, I noticed one that Mamya expertly answered yesterday....I shall endeavour to reproduce it for you, in case you didn't come across it......
'' Though it's a mere matter of course, be in a state when deducted two scores'' (4)
Mamya had the advantage of two letters, but I shall withhold those, and see if you can do it from scratch!
I thought it a really clever clue!
Did you see the "Where Was I?" thread?
I have been taking a look at that puzzle.......very interesting?
Sally and Peter have not yet put their house here on the market.....
I think a move to Aberfeldy by Christmas sounds a tad optimistic.......

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I saw "for Mali ty" and yes, it was impressive.
No, what "Where Was I" thread?
I only have a glance on here every so often, so maybe missed it.
I thought Sally and Peter were moving up in the near future?
I must have misinterpreted you.

Hi, Rusty!
Oops, sorry if I confused you!
I put that badly!
Yes, you do have it right......Sally is moving up to Scotland by Christmas, with the two dogs.......so that the house up there will not be left empty.
But Peter is to commute backwards and forwards between properties until the house here is sold.
This is the link to that puzzle.....I have copied and pasted it from the Forum
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/travel/where-was-i/
It feels as though it is becoming colder........
I feel a need for a coffee coming on.......
