Hello, Elle!
They are/were auditioning in Belfast, Letterkenny, and Dublin, that I know of.
There are people from all over Europe on the shoe regularly, but....
there were viewers complaints about that, and some of the very best acts from Europe were punted from the show, and no reason given.
My clan is from The Rosses ("Ros" is the Irish word for "headland").
It is cold here too.
The sky looks threatening!

Hi, Rusty!
Regarding BGT, yes, we did wonder why some acts disappeared from the show, didn't we?
I particularly remember a troupe of excellent Russian dancers vanishing.
They had specified that they had flown over here specifically to appear on BGT.
But I had always wondered, though, why there were "foreign" acts participating, as the show is called "BRITAIN's Got Talent"?
I can understand different nationalities taking part if they live here, but not just "jetting in" for the performance?
When one thinks about it, that doesn't seem fair?
Or descriptive of the show?
What are your thoughts on folk just arriving in Britain "to perform"?

Hello, Elle!
I think BGT makes up the rules as they go along.
I have no problem with the foreign acts, but many do.
And, I suppose, you could ask, why are BGT auditioning in Ireland?
Next stop France or Spain?
That's my tea ready now.!

Hi, Rusty!
I think if BGT want to include foreign acts then the title of the show could simply be changed to "Britain FINDS Talent"?
That would solve the issue nicely?
(Shall I give up my day job?)
So what did you have for your tea?
We had Lamb Rogan Josh with saffron rice.
A very hot curry for a very cold day!
Just the thing!

Hello, Elle!
There are "Got Talent" shows in many countries now.
Yes, you knock the day job on the head!
I had two doughnuts for tea.
Was grand!
This short video will give you a glimpse of the Rosses, in Donegal.
The airport at Carrickfinn has been voted the second most scenic airport in the world.

Hi, Rusty!
I have been watching the clip that you sent me.
What a beautiful place!
The scenery is out of this world!
And so much to do and enjoy in such a paradise......
Do you have a lot of family still living there?

Hello, Elle!
Glad you liked that wee clip!
Well, that's where we are from! Our heartland!
There is another one of photographic slides which is quite good, too.
It has auroras in it, too. (The Northern Lights)
I'll have a look for it.
I have 5 cousins and their families living there.
One of the reasons I like mobile 'phones, is, I can be in touch as often as I like, with them.
We are all on WhatsApp!
Yes, they have Wi-fI in Donegal, now!

HI, Rusty!
And I do not even know what, exactly, is "WhatsApp"?
I have of course heard of it....I think at one stage I even tried to put it up on my Hudl?
But ran into such a lot of trouble with it that I gave up on the idea?
Do you need a Smartphone for this application?
All this is way over my head.......
My trusty old mobile is a Nokia 1100.... all it does is ring and text!
No apps, no emails, no nothing!
Simple and archaic just like me!
I talk to folk on the phone and I email them!
(I have moved on from smoke signals....)

Hello, Elle!
WhatsApp is a messaging app.
All my young ones and me use it for sending pics etc.
It is free.
I am with EE and if I sent a pic through EE the charge is 42 pence per pic.
On WhatsApp it is free.
That is the big attraction.
I think you can make calls now, too, though I have not done that.
Yes, you would need a smart phone.

I like this little one!
She's going to be a star!
