Yes, you are right.......sensible advice.
Perhaps I should play it safe, and wait another day before going out walking in the early morning.
It is very dark and cold when I usually get up!
I shall be happy when the clocks go back at the weekend.
I much prefer lighter mornings...... and the darker nights do not concern me, as I am normally safely home by the time it gets dark!
Your fleece-lined shirt sounds excellent - I remember seeing a picture of it!
Why do you not get another one (or two) with the Winter months fast approaching?
Or maybe an idea for Christmas presents for you, from the girls?
The shirts were available in some very attractive checks.

I may get another shirt.
They sent me their new catalogue last week.
It is not far to their shop either.
Just over the road bridge and another few miles.
Quite a nice scenic drive, in fact.
No, I will not have the girls spend money on me.
As long as they get me a nice card, that will make me very happy!
They come to visit me on Christmas Day, then go to their Gran for their dinner.

Still, it is good that Mr. R saw fit to apologise, is it not?
It is odd, though, that whilst "digram" does not appear in any of the more reputable dictionaries...... such as Chambers, Collins, Oxford.......it can still be found online in such as Meriam-Webster and other hither- to unheard of references .

I meant to comment yesterday at Mr. R's mention of all primary schoolchildren now being au-fait with the word "digraph".....
Really?
I must ask my grandkids......
As you can see, I am feeling much better and in combative spirit today!

The only time I've heard of digraph was when my grandson was learning to read a couple of years ago!

Now, you may have said this unintentionally, but Merriam-Webster is not an "unheard of reference".
It is the best known American dictionary.
"Digraph" was unknown to me until I looked it up.
Good to hear you are on the mend.
