Good morning, Elle!
Heavy rain here!
I drove to ASDA instead of walking!
"Prosales" is a blasted pest!
I am about to have a coffee and a slice of Kirriemuir gingerbread and catch up on America's Got Talent.

Hi, Rusty!
Do a swap?
I'll send you some of our sunshine...... if I can have a piece of your gingerbread?
I love gingerbread / gingercake....especially parkin, but this last is not something we can buy down here.
I haven't had "genuine" parkin for many a year!
I have finished the 15 x15.
I especially liked 4d, 12a and 18d as appealing most to me.
Have you done your puzzle yet?

Hello, Elle!
It is slightly less rainy now!
No, I'll do my puzzle later.
'Talent' comes first!
So, I have discovered that what I see on the American channel is last weeks show!
So, to keep up to date, I have to go to YouTube.
Kechi made the final.
But the winner of America's Got Talent is....
Darci Lynne!
She was superb.
She used two puppets and they sang a Beatles song!
The vote came down to two girls, Darci and Angelica.
Angelica is a singer and is 10 years old.
Fair play to Simon Cowell.
When the vote was announced he went on stage, straight to Angelica to comfort her.
There were quite a few tears shed!
Type "Darci" in to YouTube and you can see it.

PS. There was another girl singer on the show.
She is profoundly deaf.
She started singing and after a couple of lines, someone walked onto the stage to join her.
It was Shania Twain and they did a duet!
It was great!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
I have just watched Darci perform her winning act!
She really is incredible.
A well deserved win, I'm assuming?
(Even though I haven't watched any of the competitors!)
Yes, I also saw/ heard Shania Twain and Mandy.
Very nicely sung!
It is surprising surely that Mandy is able to sing in tune if she cannot hear?
I do not know much about this?
Do you know how it is possible?
Now......dog is hovering...I think it is time for our walk!
I shall return!

Hello, Elle!
Darci is brilliant! And a very nice young girl!
A credit to herself and her family.
I think she deserved to win.
There were other good acts though.
I wondered about how Mandy can sing too.
I noticed there was an interpreter off to one side letting her know what folk were saying, by sign language.
Great to see Shania Twain joining her on stage!
I think the BGT judges are much better than the AGT judges.
Still raining here!

Hi, Rusty!
I think we are shortly going to have rain, too!
It was as well we went out earlier.
It has gone very dark .....
I have just bought in all the towels from the Hill's Hoist.
No point in risking their becoming wet.
I am trying to decide what we should have for dinner...I think we might have curry.
I have a fancy for that!
What are you having to eat?
Your son will be visiting you soon, won't he?
How did you get on with the crossword?

Hello, Elle!
The sun has come out here!
And you had a fine day for the Hill's Hoist!
I had an ASDA pork pie for tea.
They are good.
My son should be here soon.
The butcher he goes to has won medals for his steak pies amongst other awards.
All good!

Hi, Rusty!
I expect your son is still with you?
And we now have rain!
My rescue of the washing was very timely!
It has been pouring down ever since!
I am now about to watch "Eggheads" which I recorded earlier, then I shall continue reading my book.
I do have a jigsaw which I intended to start...but I have decided that I do not have the energy this evening!
The hardest jigsaw I ever completed was a large circular one of birds!
Never again...I definitely need corners and straight edges!
I am not very good at jigsaws.....

Hello, Elle!
It is still dry here.
There is a patch of snow on Braeriach (third highest mountain in Scotland) in the Cairngorms which has been there since 2006.
They expect it to have gone by the weekend.
The last two days have been a bit chilly here.
I tackle jigsaws now and again, not circular ones, though.
My daily puzzle is enough for me, nowadays.
There is an Australia's Got Talent, too, and one in Hungary.
Lots to keep me occupied!
