Hi, Rusty!
I think you are brilliant!
Wherever did you find an English address?
I have been searching Google and have only come up with French contacts?
I shall write to them tomorrow at this Chiswick address.
It may be that they do not reply........
But at least it is worth my time and effort to try, isn't it?
Thank you so much!
Two pies sound good........!
What are their fillings?
This talk of food is making me hungry..........maybe I should have a potato cake (or two) with my coffee?

Hello, Elle!
I found it in the small print in one of the headings at the bottom of the website.
No harm in firing off a letter to them!
A little bit of effort and a first class stamp won't harm you!
It is a pity the women's semis are on so late.
I would have liked to see Coco and Sloane.
My pies are in the refrigerator.
I do not know what fills them.
I am just pleased to have them.

Good morning, Elle!
It has turned into a fine morning here.
I have no plans for today.
Though I have ordered a book.
"Alone in the Wilderness" by Mike Tomkies.
Remember Mike and Moobli?
This is about his time in British Columbia.
It is out of print and second hand copies are expensive but I managed to find a "normally" priced one from World of Books.
So, that was pleasing!

PS, Elle.
The US Open final is between Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys.
So, a new winner in the offing.
And they are close friends!

PPS.
Elle, if you go on to BBC Scotland website there are some photographs of the Northern Lights taken during the night.
One very good one at the new Queensferry Crossing across the River Forth...and one over Dundee!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been looking at the photographs taken of the Northern Lights.
Aren't they a beautiful sight?
Such incredible colours!
It is a pity that we are too far south to see them in actuality.
Yes, I do indeed remember Moobli!
I think that was my first introduction to a "used" book?
Speaking of which, I shall browse Amazon later....
I need to stock up on reading material again.
I may look to see which of my favourite authors have recent books out.
I have some money in my Amazon account at the moment!
(This stops me from feeling guilty at buying so many books!)
Your mention of the tennis has reminded ....... my first letter today will be to E. P. !

Hello, Elle!
The Lights are super, aren't they!
I shall have a look again tonight, clouds permitting!
Yes, unfortunately, London is a bit too far South to see them, and probably too "lighty".
Best watched out in the country away from city lights.
Yes, get writing to EP.
They have proven to be a useless bunch!
I hope Sloane wins, but I think she will be the underdog.
Puzzle complete.
7d and 15a are new to me.
Quite a good puzzle today!

Hi, Rusty!
Uhm... well, we are about ten miles further south from Central London, so do not really have any city lights around us.......
I am thinking that Crystal Palace Park might be a good high vantage point from which to view such a phenomenon, but I still think we are way too far south for the Northern Lights, ....... so probably not worth the journey?
I enjoyed seeing the pics though!
Yes, I have done my puzzle, too!
Save for 14a; I have ?R?T
I cannot see this, I am afraid?
My favourites were 9a; 23a; 26a; and 19d.
They were the clues that best appealed to me.
Right, now to draft my letter to EP!
