Sorry, Elle!
"Worked" is the anagram indicator for homo sapiens.

Hi, Rusty!
Ah, I couldn't see there was an anagram!
I understood the definition part (I loved Latin at school!) but had no idea how to explain the rest of the clue!
I feel a dim klutz now!
Never mind...one can't win 'em all!
(An occasional one would be good, though......!)
Now.....there was a question on Eggheads yesterday that I meant to ask you.....
"Which Scottish city means Green Hollow?"
Dundee; Glasgow; or Edinburgh
I knew it...and I am sure that you will, too!

Hello, Elle,
I heard many years ago that Glasgow was "the dear green place", so I'll go with that?

Good evening, Rusty!
The cat was very pleased to see us!
We fed and watered him , cleaned his litter tray - and gave him lots of cuddles!
I am now going to watch the Monaco Diamond League.......
Have you seen it?
Did you watch Laura.....?
Or have you been too busy following the penultimate day of Le Tour?

Hi, Rusty!
I suspect that your small driving errand entails taking or fetching a granddaughter to / from somewhere?!
Laura did well didn't she , running a PB?
And did you also read that Eilish' s time beat that of her mother (Liz) 's best? time?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, driving Miss La Bamba!
I am home now.
In fairness, La Bamba often drives me hither and yon!
Laura seems to run PB's each time out!
I did not know that about Eilish.
I like Eilish, she will never be a world beater but she tries her damnedest to keep improving!
The golf has just finished it.
I am enjoying it.

I paused the golf to eat. I've now watched on catch up.

Of the Americans, I do like Spieth and Kuchar (and Fowler and Michelson). When Spieth hit a putt way off line he was able to laugh about it (and hole the one back!).
