Hello, Elle!
Just heading out.
I had a look at the puzzle.
It is quite hard today!
Still have some to do when I come home.

Hi, Rusty!
Oops! I hadn't realised that so much time had gone by since I last checked in to the forum!
I probably have missed you - and you have already left?
I didn't know that it was possible to follow a court proceeding online?
Is this something to do with British Cycling, which I know you have been following with great interest?
I am about halfway through the 15 x15 , just coming back to it occasionally in between doing other things......it's a bit of a strange mixture?
I have spent the last forty minutes chatting to my daughter on the phone - she rang whilst eating her lunch, outside the office in her break!
I hope you enjoy your outing!
Catch you later......

Hello, Elle!
I am home now, with 8 farm eggs and a sea trout!
My pal had phoned and asked if I would like them.
So, that is pleasing!
He lives around 16 miles from me.
Elle, I do not know if you can follow courts on line, normally.
But some courts allow folk to Tweet the proceedings.
But, the Supreme Court is online, (I have it in my "favourites").
It was online this morning, but not now.
There were 5 judges listening to lawyers ("See page 412, paragraph 8, sub-section 3" etc).
Hard work!
But tomorrow morning, as far as I am aware, is a "hand-down", a judgement, and it is being "streamed" on-line from the Supreme Court.
That is what I am interested in.
It is a case between BDO and HMRC.
Nothing to do with Cycling.
That was nice hearing from your daughter!
I have finished the puzzle.
Took longer than usual.
A new word or two (which I like) and one or two where I do not quite agree with the setter's thinking!
But, overall, a fine puzzle!
Well done, Mr Setter!
Now to watch le Tour!

Hi, Rusty!
That sounds like a worthwhile outing!
Will you have the trout for dinner?
I like trout - but only if it has already been filleted for me; I am a lazy eater!
Now, tell me......what is the BDO?
Should I know what that stands for?
I hate the HMRC!
They were the cause of such worry and aggravation for me!
I may have "won" in the end, but goodness, what a battle!
Or should that be ...what a "war"?
I have got no further with the crossword as yet, as I was invited to have coffee with a neighbour!
Time for the tennis........
I wonder what I have missed.......

Hello, Elle!
I am having the trout tomorrow!
I am looking forward to it.
BDO is an international accountancy organisation
I can not remember what the initials mean.
B may be "Binder?"
They deal a lot in administrations and liquidations etc.
Think the headquarters are in Belgium.
I am on the side of HMRC.
I get on very well with HMRC.
i think Lord Neuberger is presiding.

Hello Rusty!

Yes, well done Démare - I must admit that I don't really know
him that well yet.
But what a dramatic finish for some of them! I don't think P. Sagan's
elbow was voluntary - he would not do that I don't think.

Sagan went straight to see Cav after the latter crossed the line - whether to apologise or explain we don't know! I would think both, as although Sagan obviously was the immediate cause of Cav's crash, he may have been affected by something happening in front of him as well.

Hello, Pigale,
It looked deliberate by Sagan.
Unfortunately Cav was right on the barriers and had nowhere to go.
I think Sagan has been penalised 30 seconds and placed last.
I think he is lucky not to be thrown off the race.
The points penalty will be a mountain to climb now for the Green Jersey.
Cav got a sore one, as did John Degenkolb.

After viewing the finish again and again, Cavendish seemed to
try and squeeze in a very small gap - he could have created a
problem for Sagan!
