What's happening to the coverage of the Criterium du Dauphine? Eurosport seem to be showing it, except when they aren't (as, apparently, today!)

Chris, you are too late for it.
It was on earlier.
Pete Kennaugh (Isle of Man) won today on L'Alpe d'Huez.

Hello, Elle!
I had a smashing bacon roll and La Bamba had a cheese and ham toastie.
Cycling is finished.
Dreaded Team Sky rider won!
Still lots of snow on the mountains.
I have no idea of Laura's programme for the year.
Rome obviously does not figure in it.

Thanks rusty - must have been an early start! Previous stages have finished about 3.30 our time.

Yes, an early start.
Wondering if it clashes with Roland Garros or something?
Not satisfactory, the varying times, anyway!

Hi, Rusty!
We are finally home again!
We walked a lot further than originally intended, but it was pleasant out....warm and sunny but with a refreshing breeze, so it tended to make us feel more energetic!
The dog had a good run!
I see that Jelena Ostapenko beat Simona Halep to win the French Open.
Ostapenko, who is only 20 and ranked 47th, is the first unseeded woman to win at Roland Garros since 1933.
Well done her!
Now......I have discovered that I have "The Voice" to watch this evening!
As you know, I like this programme very much.
However, this series is slightly different!
The contestants are only children, between the ages of 8 and 14.
Apart from Will.i.am, who returns as one of the judges, there will be two additional new judges.
Pixie Lott is one, but I cannot remember the name of the other.
I hope it is a good programme!

Hello, Elle!
It has turned into a fine evening here.
I had not heard of Ostapenko before today.
I have heard of Pixie Lott!
I hope you like your programme.

Years ago we drove up the back road to Alpe d'Huez (there was a race on the hairpin road. We pulled in to a layby and cars pulled in before and behind us. Several young men climbed out and one said "Hello, we're Libyans". I said "it's OK, we don't like Margaret Thatcher either". They smiled, and everything was all right!

Hi, Rusty!
Well, I seem to have missed the beginning of the programme!
I thought it started at 8 o'clock!
Seemingly it began at 7.45pm.
I had gone to sleep reading my book.....!
Oops!
Ah, here we go again...it is back!
I shall let you know what I think of it later........

Hi, Rusty!
Update!
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme "The Voice Kids"!
The children were very good indeed.
I don't know whether you have ever watched the adult show?
The judges as usual listened with their backs to the performers, only turning their chairs if they liked the "voice"
Each judge has twelve choices to make throughout the next few weeks, before the show moves on to the next stage.
Tonight was a very impressive beginning!
(The third judge was Danny Jones from McFly)
I am glad I woke up in time to watch (most of ) it!!
