I cannot for the life of me fathom where these earworms come from!
Why have I got "The Old Grey Goose is Dead" in my head!
Life is a mystery!

Good morning, Rusty!
It's another lovely one, too!
That is such a lovely thought...thinking that you were put on earth to be a grandad - no wonder the girls love you so much! and want to spend so much time with you!
We love being grandparents, too. Our are so much younger, it's a different ball game with them at the moment, but it's fun watching them develop and hopefully being an important part of that.
What was the outcome of the golf?
And how is the grey goose doing this morning?

Good morning, Elle!
Overcast here. Where has my summer gone?
Jeff Maggert won the golf. Old Tom was 7th.

The young ones developing is very special!
Bringing a boyfriend to meet granddad etc!
And hoping they hit it off!
Scary stuff!

The Old Grey Goose is still dead today.
I wonder if they have told Aunt Rhody yet.
Rhody is an unusual name, isn't it?

Wimbledon! Are you and the "red button" good to go?!!

Hello, Doglet!
Bird World is new to me.
Hope you have a good time!

Elle, Rhody is a diminutive of Rhoda.
Always learning!
Now, what happened to the Old Grey Goose?!!!

Hi, Rusty!
We have blue skies, sunshine and a temperature already hitting the early twenties!
Sorry to hear that Tom only came seventh!
How many potential boyfriends have you already had to meet?
I know Miss Orlando has a "young man", as she went on holiday with him and his parents, didn't she?
Are you warned beforehand not to damage the girls' street cred?!
I remember several years back, when we met my elder daughter's husband's parents for the first time. I was forewarned not to talk about anything in the least bit controversial...... so no religion, no private education versus the state system, etc., ....she had quite a list!
In vain did I try to explain that even an argument or an animated discussion was better than stilted conversation or silence!!
I haven't even checked yet who is playing at Wimbledon today....do you know ?
(I'm not sure about pressing the red button... but I'm ready to key in the code that Malone gave me!)

Hello, Elle!
Just two boyfriends. Both fine young men.
One graduated last week.
Mind you, the girls would know better than to bring anything else to meet me!
When Miss Orlando told me she was bringing Mr Right to say "hello", she gave me one of her "looks".
No dialogue required! Then she gave me a kiss!
And shortly after I was wondering what the girls in ASDA were giggling about. Then one, braver than the rest, told me I had lipstick on my cheek!
Granddaughters can be hard work!
I know Serena and Djokovic are playing today and I hope they both get thrashed!
You will be fine with Malone's code, I think.
So, any idea what happened to the Old Gray Goose?
I will check Brewers later.
At the minute I am getting set for a trek to hospital.
My consultant is a very nice feisty lady and with a bit of luck she will discharge me.
A pity, in a way, as she's always up for a bit of banter!

Good Day Rusty !

Over the past few weeks I have noticed one thing about you Rusty : between your grand-daughters, your dentist, your hospital consultant and the girls in ASDA, you are surrounded by nice ladies !!! Quite a Don Juan no .....?

No, Pigale.
I like people.
Yes, they are all extremely nice to me.
To me it would be a dreary world without chat and banter.
There are miserable folk going about wrapped up in themselves.
I do not hesitate to initiate a conversation, though.
Why not?
