Hello, Elle!
Yes, I think my son will be here soon.
Could May month be linked to May/hawthorn?
I think you are on to something.
I can't really remember my grannies but I believe they would be more likely to say "and don't be bringing any trouble to our door!"
Yes the golf is on.
I am watching Stacey Lewis just now.
I think most of the ladies are South Koreans.
It is a strange course (Mission Hills, Cal) lots of houses built on it.

Hi, Rusty!
I expect your son will still be with you...?
Now...I have looked up the May /hawthorn tree, and the Woodland Trust assures me that "the May-tree, due to its flowering period, it is the only British plant named after the month in which it blooms."
Obvious, I suppose, when one thinks about it....!
I can only remember one grandmother - on my mother's side of the family.
I think my paternal grandmother died well before I was born.
And I only have a dim memory of my paternal grandfather, as he died when I was very young.
My mother's parents though, figured quite prominently in my life until I was into double figures.
I guess generally speaking grandparents live longer these days - as this is us, and our generation, let us hope so anyway!
Now, we haven't had dinner yet.......I must go and check on its progress......

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull but mild day so far......
I haven't been out for a walk this morning, as I am taking the dog to the Groomers for a ten o'clock appointment.
How are you today?
I hope you are feeling somewhat improved from yesterday?
Hopefully, you got a relatively early night after your son left - and a good night's sleep may have helped?
Take it easy today, anyway........maybe see the doctor if need be?
( I'm good at giving advice that I do not follow myself! )
Still....be sensible!
Do you have any sport to watch today?
An excuse for a lazy day?

Good morning, Elle!
Still feel a bit yeuch!
But I went for my paper today.
I have to be fit for Sunday morning when I visit my daughter-in-law. It is her birthday.
I have two golf tournaments to watch today.
Both my selections are going along quite nicely.
Other than that I am taking it easy!
Hope you get on fine at the Groomers,

Hi, Rusty!
I am sorry to hear that you are still feeling a bit "off".........
I hope you wrapped up well when you went out for your paper.
Another 48 hours should make a huge difference.........so hopefully you will be fully recovered for your daughter-in -law's birthday on Sunday.
I have just had my daughter on the phone.....
YB has been very sick, and she has had to take the day off work to look after him.
Bugs going around?
We have left a very reluctant dog at the Groomers!
She likes the groomer....but not the bathing, drying and cutting!
Still, it is only something to be endured every couple of months...so she will survive!
We go back for her in about 45 minutes.
I have just finished the Times QC - a very easy one today!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Home again!
With a clean and nicely trimmed dog!
She has even managed to escape becoming filthy again from her long walk!
How are you doing?
You seem to be keeping a low profile..... hope all is ok?
Have you been watching the golf?

Hello, Elle!
I am doing away fine, just feel grim!
I had a look at the ladies golf earlier.
Young Charley Hull is going along nicely.
She is playing with a fractured wrist, and is already planning her jump into the pond!
She was second to Lydia Ko last year, so why ever not!
Play is delayed as they could not finish yesterday's round due to high winds.

Hey, Rusty!
You don't sound as though you are doing very fine.......not if you are feeling grim?
What did your son say when he saw you last night?
Did he think you need to see the doctor?
Maybe if you are no better tomorrow, that is what you should do?
Charley Hull is very stoical, playing with a broken wrist........I hope she wins after all this trauma.
Will the competition finish today?

Hello, Elle!
There is little wrong with me, stop fussing.
I have a bug, probably.
It is perfectly normal to feel grim when you have a bug.
Charley has been told her fracture will not heal.
It is an old injury and it is inflamed.
It does not seem to be bothering her.
The tournament will finish on Sunday evening.
