Hey, Rusty!
And wasn't it great to see Aussie Sally Pearson getting back on track after her previous horrific injury?
Kendra Harrison was first, as expected, but Sally came third in the 60m hurdles.
And Cindi Ofili for GB was fifth.
Andrew Pozzi did well too in the Men's 60 m hurdles.
Yes , I saw a clip of Jonathan and Tina talking together....he was "suited" up!
What I appreciated above all, though, was being able to watch 'leisurely' without the BBC 'hustling' me along!
Yes, all being well the boys and our elder daughter will be coming to stay for a few days next week.
I am trying to organise a family get -together whilst they are here.
It will be good for the cousins to meet up!

Hello, Elle!
Sally Pearson is one tough lady!
So, Jonathan was in a suit, what was Tina wearing?
Was this outside on the slopes?
I wonder is Jonathan going to be the main man for all the sports?
I do not understand the BBC hustling you, Elle?
Can you "record", or "go back" to watch programmes?
I am very pleased you are enjoying it, (and relieved!).
Men's Super G tomorrow.
Chemmy Alcott was co-commentator today.
A very knowledgeable lady, and boy can she talk!
Be great for all the family if you can organise a get together!

Hi, Rusty!
I was searching for the Karlsruhe athletics and came upon a studio scene of Jonathan and, I assumed, Tina.
I didn't linger as I didn't want to miss the athletics.
I just had time to notice J in his suit!
I should be quite happy were Jonathan to play a leading role in introducing/ commentating on Sport...I have always liked him and think he has a pleasing personality, don't you?
Ah, now BBC's "hustling".......I am referring to the foreshortened "highlights" that we are continually getting.
It is all one event piled on top of another...sometimes without even showing all the competitors.
Rush, rush, rush......
This is primarily what drove me to consider EuroSports Player.
I can get live TV, both Euro Channels 1 and 2, the TV schedules and about 200 videos!
I have enjoyed myself this evening!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I like Jonathan and I hope he does well.
A lot for him to learn if he is doing most sports!
He has been interviewing Lindsey Vonn, too.
Could it have been her you saw?
She is blonde, Tina is brunettish.
That is great you are getting on well with Eurosport!
I think Laura Muir runs in Birmingham indoors, on Sat 18th Feb, but I do not know who is covering it, or what distance she is racing.
Be very good, though!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is not a very nice morning here.
We have fog, and a dampness in the air - cold too.
What is it like in your area?
Have you been out for your paper?
We have to go out again later.........at midday for dental check ups.
I have just checked in on EuroSport....
I can see this becoming addictive!
Jonathan - wearing a suit - was in the studio talking with Tina, and Chammy Alcott.
I see that there is European Indoor Athletics scheduled for 3 o'clock.
We should be home again by then.
Have to prioritise!
What are you up to today?

Good morning, Elle!
Bit dreich here, but not too cold.
Yes, I agree, Jonathan seems to be doing programmes with Tina!
I stand corrected!
He will have the anorak on shortly, for the men's Super G.
Tina was one of my favourites when she raced.
And "Chemmy" it is! Her Christian name is Chimene.
The athletics is from Dusseldorf. Not live though.
I have the day to myself and will watch the skiing.
I had phone calls to make yesterday.
One was to BT regarding my discount, but they said to call back on Friday when more offers are available.

Hi, Rusty!
Sorry......"Chemmy "!
I had never heard of her!
I am having one of those 'phone call' days myself today!
I have various problems to sort out, plus an appointment to make at the vets for the cat to have his boosters, the dog to go to the groomers, organise a food delivery for tomorrow from the pet shop, and on and on it goes...!
You have BT twisted round your little finger by the sound of it!
Well, I must away to the dentist.
Our first appointment is at noon.
Catch up on my return........
Enjoy the skiing!

Hello, Elle!
Chemmy was a very good Alpine skier.
She had a lot of injuries during her career.
Broken neck, ankle, legs etc.
She is a very good commentator.
BT and me get on very well.
I find them very good to deal with.
Actually, I get on very well with Sky, AA, SSE, and other companies I deal with.
I am lucky that I get discounts from them.
But if you don't ask, you don't get!
I was just slightly early phoning BT to get another deal.
Will do so on Friday.
Skiing is good.
Erik Guay of Canada is leading, so far.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
We are finally home from the dentist!
It was a successful visit in that neither of us required any treatment.
We both have a clean bill of health!
No need to go again for another six months.
It is absolutely freezing cold out............brrrh.........much colder than it was first thing this morning.
I think I am in now to stay......
Or, maybe...just maybe..... I will take the dog out for a while later......maybe about 4 pm after I have watched the Indoor Athletics at Dusseldorf!
It does rather depend on whether this abysmal fog worsens.
I don't think it healthy to go out if the fog gets any thicker.
We shall see..........
How did your skiing go?

Hello, Elle!
Erik Guay won the skiing.
It is getting cold here, too.
My local paper ran an article saying we are in for a cold spell.
Temperature could be down to minus 10.
Hope not!
Good result at your dentist!
