Elle & Rossim, Blighted would knock out the third letter being N, and that comes from Interstellar Clouds (7)
being Nebulae.

You know I think I'm just going to spare you all this annoyance because I have just seen the possibility of the same word being the answers to 2 clues. But then I could be wrong - since my track record wasn't so hot on the previous ones. I'll post them.
Having a strong dislike of (6) _ V _ R _ _ (V from Endive, R from Agree)
Feeling of opposition (6) A _ E _ S _ ( E last of Nebulae, S from Used car)

At last, aaargh.
I can see why you feel averse fits both it should definitely be the first answer. What produces the "a" in the second please, could it possibly be "u" to give "unease"?

Thanks, Ginge. The initial A comes from my answer to Refrain (7) for which I gave Abstain.
Abstain fits with Bar Bill (3) for which I gave Tab
And Loafer (5) for which I gave Idler.

Sorry tonta, I haven't been much help but I can't fault "abstain". Time for the cricket but I'll try to look in later, good luck.

Thanks to all of you for solutions to my earlier post. I bought this week's issue of the same paper, simply to get the answers (but there is a danger of being lured into attempting this one!) The answers are: Banjaxed (for Destroyed or ruined) Abort (for Cancel) Averse (for Feeling of opposition - totally wrong, should be Aversion) Used car (for Set of wheels with a past 7) Abstain (for Refrain) and Rohan - yes Chrise. The same answer to 2 clues in the same crossword. I have never seen that before.

Cheers for the update Tonya, 2 clues with the same answer in the same puzzle is also a first for me and hopefully the last. Email to the crossword editor leaps to mind. An unfair puzzle with used car also not being given as 2 words and no surprise it caused so much confusion with the uncertainties given above. I'll give him/her banjaxed though.
