We're celebrating the onset of spring with...snow! But it got all the way up to 32 F today (0 C); it felt positively pagan (I really should put my clothes back on). It's official now: we've had the greatest snowfall on record this year, and it was also the coldest February ever (the average high for the month is 42 but this year it was 19). Almost all of eastern North America is still frozen solid, but the folks at Global Warming, Inc. have announced that it was one of the very warmest winters in US history.

Oh! And thanks to the lovely fieryjack and mattrom for the votes and to the colorful ginge for the mention. Very much appreciated.

Just got in from the French local election campaign celebrations: we're only allowed to vote at 2 of the 6
levels of political elections here, but as everyone knows, the real religion in Gascony is eating, drinking & talking.
So thanks to everybody for votes & congratulations, to Rosalind for the word, the running & the clip (never realized BN resembled Presley...) & I'll do my best to provide some good meat to chew on next Thursday!
