Quickest solve I've ever experienced with H. (maybe 40 ",
watching TV half the time) --- but a novel construction!

Thanks yet again syzygy, although not the most difficult, as usual there were some lovely reading clues. I particularly like 1,23, 30, 39* across and 4, 5 & 9* down. I also thought the definitions in 11 and 35 across were "different" in a positive way!
