Thanks everybody for taking part. Although mattrom, thea,, imagcq and syzygyĀ  have not yet voted I hope none of them will mind me declaring early (please feel free to indicate how you would have voted and/or comment on any of the other entries).
In my opinion together with those that did, there were several quality entries that didn't receive votes or mentions which makes the result even more impressive.

The runaway winner is heathcliff67 with;

Army corps drove chattering school party by train down to family stand to watch team game for spring trip. They all set a good example

Congratulations, your prize hopefully contains some examples new to at least some of you as I believe only 1 of them was used in the entries.

Until next week, cheers.

Will watch the clip later, Ginge.
Adobe plug-in is out of date, apparently. Being cautious; lost 50 GB mysteriously yesterday & it took hours to clean up.

Well done, Heathcliff - a tour de force. What is the collective noun for a group of collective nouns?

Thanks, Ginge.
(Was going to vote for jws #5)

Thank you very much to all who voted and gave congratulations, and to ginge for setting and hosting the competition.

Hopefully I'll do a reasonable job of hosting next week.

Now for the rugby.
