Oh dear Jazzgirl sorry to hear about your sore throat etc. I think chicken soup or lemsip sounds better than soapy water!! I'm in trouble again as the MRI scan shows I have a compacted spine giving me trapped nerves all down my legs& feet ..... making my feet swell so I can't get my shoes on. Very kind neighbour did a lot of shopping for me today. I hope that you will soon feel a lot better. Happy New Year!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your spine. I do hope something can be done to resolve the problem. You have a good neighbour, which is good. Mules with an adjustable strap is the way to go if you can't wear proper shoes.

Seriously, I do recommend the toddy - you could even dissolve a couple of dispersible aspirins in it.

Whisky is a drink of the past for me. I no longer indulge :)

............but it's medicinal!
