I am late checking in as I have only just finished the RT crossword.
I can see #3 on first read-through so will have to ponder on the rest.

Hi also to Ari, Trevor, ginge, Chrise and Jazzy. Nice to see you all. Still having site trouble, Ari? Gosh.

I have to go out before 5 to take a friend to a garage where her car is in for repair. Will not peek in again until after 8. I'm sure the clues will be thoroughly parsed and solved by then.

Here is my stab at them.

1. Regularly enters shallow vessel in front of river gambling establishment, possibly (10,5)- DISORDERLY HOUSE? (Dish – shallow vessel, with “orderly” – regularly inside , with the river Ouse gives Dis orderly h Ouse- a gambling establishment possibly?)

2. Poisonous growth rises to the top in various orders? (9) MONKSHOOD? (A monk’s hood would “rise to the top” in various monastic orders and monkshood is a poisonous growth?)

3. Medically looking into excruciatingly badly cut cuticle (1-6)- X-RAYING? (Signature subtractive anagram. “Excruciatingly” with “cuticle” removed and “badly” as anagrind gives x-raying- medically looking into?)

4. Ends the issue of a legitimate RM in Ireland (7) TERMINI? (Ends – letters are in clue)

5. Smelly jelly? (4,9) HIGH EXPLOSIVE? (Smelly – high, jelly –gelignite etc )

Just had #3 today - tried (but failed) to make #2 "toadstool"!

I'm giving up on this site. It's just too frustrating. I clicked submit right at 5 and nothing happened.
