I'm also watching the race on TV ..... but it looks sunny there now. Our black cloud has blown over. Our son & family go camping in Devon tomorrow! Rather them than me ..... Ahh the young are hardy!!

Yes chrise we are still trundling along thank you! Johnny had his pacemaker checked this week which was put in end of June & they don't want to see him until August 2015! Tens machine doesn't seem to help me much but I've really enjoyed this summer of sunshine!

What vineyard jazzgirl ?!! Cycle race seems to be going through lots of puddles in sunshine under shady trees. I used to live in Shirley Surrey as a child ...... But it was far more countrified then. Bridle road was a little country road but after the war it had double decker buses going up & down. The golf course became a housing estate I think! Bike race still going along in an open area now. I assume it's still in Surrey.

Denbies Wine Estate is the vineyard, just outside Dorking. But the race whizzed past it, blink and you missed it !

How on earth are they supposed to get at all those cloth bags they have been handed ?? I assume they must have food & drink for the cyclist as they sling them over themselves but I can't see how they can oentemwhist cycling ..... or have I missed something?

Redcoral, the bags are called musettes and contain the rider's food. They usually transfer the food into the pockets on their jerseys to eat when needed.
