I love the "esp." - surely you wouldn't be dong it properly without that equipment or location?

I think I'm going crazy........ neither taghairm nor mutt'on-thumper appear to be in my 13th edition! I've even cleaned my specs........

mutton-thumper is under mutton (why is it written as mutt'on in Chambers?)

Mutton-thumper is even in the 1912 edition ( under mutton) between mutton-suet and muttony
