Elle, where do you live? On the Outer Hebrides? Been roasting in Brumk. Having another BBQ tomorrow believe it or not I think it might just be a tad too hot! We should't complain though how often do we get weather like this?

Not quite the Outer Hebrides! We live in the South East - on the London / Kent borders. It remained hot throughout the storms, although feels slightly fresher this morning as a result of the thunderstorms and heavy rain. Glorious (and dry!) again today though!

Another great day on Tayside. So warm!
I have downgraded my dander today to a "canny amble".

I was over optimistic when I said that yesterday's storms here would have lowered the temperature somewhat...... it's back in the lower thirties again!
We've just arrived home after a (gruelling) walk with the dog - time for cool drinks !
